Me wondering why it feels like everything is spinning, only to remember I’ve not had breakfast because I get bad tummy ache if I eat and hop on a road trip🥲
I’ve published Part 2 of “I Gave an AI Agent Access to Tools. Here's What I Would Monitor as a Security Analyst.”
Part 1 focused on visibility.
Part 2 asks: once something looks suspicious, how do we investigate, contain it and learn from it?
I cover AI-agent attack pivots, prompt injection, least privilege, containment, detection and a practical threat-hunting workflow.

God bless my former team lead mehn
@Tech_Toria you rewired my brain so well!
I love talking, especially when it comes to bragging about people I learnt from.
One day, it won’t be a post about my friendship with Victoria, but about how well she led the Cybersecurity team I was under and how it helped me in this field.
Client: I have been looking for a job in Cybersecurity for 3 years now, nothing
Me: Ah, why now?
Client: I don’t know, I am even thinking of stopping. I have not been able to do anything with the certificate I got.
Me: Hmmm, can I see your portfolio?
Client: Like my CV?
Me: Yes, that included and a repository of all your projects and certifications. I will start there and make my analysis on the problem
Client: I have not done anything with projects in Cybersecurity
Me: 🤦🏽♀️…that is problem number 1. In fact, with your IT background, that is your biggest problem.
A man called me “masculine” because I have dreams and ambitions.
He further said he cannot be building an empire and his woman is building an empire too. In his words and I quote “You should be at home, relaxing and be pretty for me”
Now someone reading this may see it as “sweet” because he doesn’t want his woman to stress, but in less than 1-minute, this man belittled women, and lowered us defining true feminism as having zero ambition and if any, must be very much limited.
He also said by the time I am 25, I will calm down.
I asked him one question “Last time I remember, this meet up was to discuss partnership with my Cybersecurity company. What makes you think women like me, would want to be with a man like you?”
This same man said he was at a point in his life where he needed an “ambitious” woman who would fuel him to do more. All in this meeting o
Any way, just randomly remembered it because I just got another win that may make him feel smaller, if he found out😂😂😂😂
I will quote this tweet on my 25th birthday and list out everything I will accomplish by that time.
By age 25, I will only be getting started.
On to the next mehn!

Microsoft Threat Intelligence has identified a cluster of compromised websites leading to ClickFix attacks. Instead of downloading and executing remote payloads like the typical attack pattern, in this attack, the websites pre-fetch a script payload into the browser cache disguised as a PNG file.
When a user is later tricked into executing the malicious command, the cached website content is already on the device, loaded, and ready to be executed. This helps to hide the payload script and helps bypass the character limit of the Run dialog.
ClickFix attacks persuade users to execute attacker-supplied commands under the guise of verification or repair. In this specific campaign, a fake lure instructs users to open Windows Run, paste clipboard content and press Enter.
The injected page uses browser caching to stage the larger VBScript payload separately from the Run command. The command invokes cmd.exe to recursively enumerate files whose names start with "f_” in the browser’s profile folder such as %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.
It compares each file’s byte length with an expected value. Rather than searching for a marker within the contents like previous attacks, it copies a size-matching cache entry to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\t.vbs, giving the cached payload a VBScript extension, then executes it with wscript.exe. Copy output and errors are suppressed. The expected size varies across variants.
The VBScript collects host information through WMI, retrieves v.ps1 from cocojambo[.]us[.]com/alfa, and launches PowerShell without a profile and with execution-policy bypass. A later PowerShell stage downloads the next-stage payload as cab.dat, then reads and executes its contents in a hidden window. The PowerShell stage triggers .NET compilation using csc.exe and cvtres.exe, then launches timeout.exe.
Subsequent payloads load .NET assemblies into memory and inject code into timeout.exe to target browser and device credentials. The injected process launches PowerShell to retrieve another in-memory stage from capsysnet[.]vg and makes outbound connections to ciliabula[.]cc.
The payload modifies the per-user PowerShell registry configuration to use the Bypass execution policy, then unpacks Python with tar.exe and creates a scheduled task that launches a Python payload through pythonw.exe for persistence.
Microsoft Defender provides layered protection across the ClickFix attack chain. Defender SmartScreen and Defender for Office 365 help block malicious sites, links, attachments, and fake CAPTCHA lures, while Defender for Endpoint detects suspicious command execution and outbound connections through alerts like “Possible ClickFix activity”. Defender Antivirus blocks malicious command execution as Trojan:Win32/ClickFix and Trojan:Win32/TermFix.
Microsoft recommends cloud-delivered, web, and network protection, application control, and PowerShell script-block logging. Hunt across browser activity, RunMRU registry key, WScript/PowerShell child processes and scheduled tasks, not download events alone. A CAPTCHA should not ask users to run code. Users shouln not paste commands from verification prompts into Run, Terminal or PowerShell and should treats such requests as potential initial access attempts.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have been able to resume my training sessions for beginners in Cybersecurity, that I needed to put on hold for personal career development reasons.
The first frame shows one batch of our Physical training sessions at @cloud_mavinCC with over 50 students handling their first project, through one of our current partnerships
The second frame is the new virtual session I began for beginners in Cybersecurity, set to graduate as Junior Cybersecurity Analysts before the year runs out.
For top performers, they will be exposed to how to apply for and land internships (paid/unpaid), by January 2027.
If you are interested in the virtual sessions, my goal was 100 people, you can still register before the week runs out, as long as you have a laptop, can use it, can speak and understand English and can commit at least 6 hours every week to classes, projects and coursework for the next 2 months.
Fee this year is ONLY $20/25,000 naira
For more enquiry, send a message on WhatsApp to our support team: wa.me/message/FYZGBD3UWUGEF1
Send this to anyone the virtual classes will help.
I’ve published Part 1 of my new cyber threat research piece:
“I Wouldn’t Start by Securing the AI. I’d Start by Watching It.”
AI agents can access tools, data, applications and APIs.
But as a security analyst, the first question I’d ask is:
“Can we actually see what the agent is doing?”
In Part 1, I look at AI-agent security from a threat-hunting perspective: baselining behaviour, defining attack hypotheses, mapping attack paths and identifying the telemetry needed to detect suspicious activity.
Part 2 will move into investigation, containment and response.

As a tech instructor currently focused on helping people understand Cybersecurity is possible to get into, I felt really bad and when I remember him, I still do
This student came to me and he was one of the very few I selected, when I wanted to stop training and focus on my final year project and further along when I stopped 1-on-1 sessions to focus on my Threat Intelligence career development.
But for me it was a reminder that not every situation comes out how we expect and maybe I just wasn’t the ideal instructor for him.
A student who I taught but seldom took classes seriously, applied for an internship I wanted him to, after the training.
He messaged me with his recommendation letter and certificate from the company and I was happy but in disbelief. I requested to see his portfolio from the internship, to be sure he did the work. Mind you, I thought maybe he did one or two projects and completed the final one which made him graduate, but to my surprise, he completed ALL projects. I was so excited and decided to check his reports and what I saw made me cry.
All, AI generated and not one was edited to input the screenshots showing he carried out the practicals. He left all with comments from the AI telling him to replace the words with screenshots, which he didn’t.
I said nothing and simply deleted his number and will never be reaching out to him again.

The way some of you make jobs like nail/lash tech sound eh, if my nail technician stops her job to pursue “tech”, I’ll cry o😭
If everyone does tech or other jobs in justification that what they currently do is not something to be proud of, who will be left in that industry? I look at my nails some days since getting them done and tell myself that there’s no way I’d be patient/interested enough to create such a piece.
Just like every other job, such jobs take real work, resources, discipline and for some, real passion.
Because of them and others in that line of work, I can walk out of the salon smiling ear to ear ❤️
So if this is what you do, you can make it big here too while doing what you love. Don’t listen to the noise.
Mojisola, please don’t leave me 🥺🥺🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽

Nigeria has recently unveiled a National Digital Cloud Policy with $750Million expected to be invested over the next 24 months.
We should all be paying attention!
I have read it in detail and will be sharing in a 3-5 part series, what the policy actually does, what can go wrong from a cybersecurity stance, the opportunities for Nigerians and the talent Nigeria needs urgently.
This is part 1 - what the policy actually does.
A company once reached out to me for a role.
I needed the opportunity.
There were several applicants, including some they wouldn't mind providing accommodation for.
I decided to try something different.
Here's what happened;
I added reviews from previous clients and employers to my portfolio.
Not just the good ones.
The good, the bad and the ugly.
A few days later, I got a call.
They asked why I hadn't removed the reviews that made me “look bad.”
My response:
“In life, there's nothing like a bad review. It's simply someone's opinion from the lens through which they viewed what was presented to them.”
A negative review can be:
→ Honest feedback
→ An area for improvement
→ A mismatch between client and professional
I told them I believed strongly in honesty and accountability.
And that my decision to leave the reviews visible was proof that I intended to uphold both.
That changed the conversation.
I was scheduled for an interview.
And eventually, I negotiated my compensation to almost 2× their original budget.
My skills got me considered.
But the way I presented evidence of those skills helped me stand out.
That's one lesson I want more aspiring cybersecurity professionals to understand:
❌ Don't just collect skills.
✅ Learn how to demonstrate them.
✅ Build projects.
✅ Document your work.
✅ Create a portfolio.
✅ Collect genuine feedback.
✅ Learn how to position yourself.
That's also one of the reasons I'm building @cloud_mavinCC
Because learning cybersecurity is only part of the journey.
Knowing how to position yourself after learning it matters too.
If you're starting your cybersecurity journey, that's something we're intentionally building into our training.
