Goliath at SFOG is one of my favorite coasters. Been riding it just about every year since it came out.
This is just an incredibly unbelievably tragic and horrible accident.
My heart breaks for this man’s family and anyone who was there to witness it. Absolutely awful…
I had a Kumba recreation on the back burner for months. Finally finished trackwork for it today. 😮💨
My first visit to Magic Mountain in 2022, I rode X2 as my first ride of the day, and I smacked the back of my head against the headrest extremely hard through the 2nd raven turn. I respect the impact this ride had on the industry but I wasn’t a fan 🥴
After almost 20 years, we have decided to permanently retire X2. Read Six Flags Magic Mountain Park President Brian Oerding’s blog post for more details: bit.ly/46QV3l6
Ok back row green side SLAPS. Stardust is such an addicting coaster! Gives me a shit eating grin on my face every time.
Big L. Best single rider line in the park. Always a short wait. Had a lot of great Everest marathons via the single rider line
NEW: Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will no longer offer a Single Rider line beginning Sept. 21.
Disney says testing of a new loading process resulted in lower average standby wait times, making the Single Rider line less useful. The change does not impact Single Rider offerings at other attractions.
Wishlist for ArieForce One when it gets built at its new home.
1. Give it a 3rd train.
2. Give it 6 car trains
3. Rework the ending into a couple of bigger airtime hills instead of the painful bunny hops.
4. Extend the brake run a bit so it doesn’t overshoot every other cycle.
If Kings Island gets Arie Force One, I will genuinely be shocked.
Kings Island always finds a way to come up short. Always.
I’m fully convinced the curse of having no modern destination thrill coaster will continue for eternity 😏
The greatest traditional looping coaster ever created has roared for the last time…
Long live Kumba. 🫡
I’ll take two options.
1. A complete track and structure rebuild of the exact same layout with new lapbar trains.
2. A giga similar to Fury 325.
One thing I never hear anyone talk about with Kumba is how the track literally CARVES through the ground at basically every valley of the ride.
THIS is how you properly settle a roller coaster into its terrain. Just gorgeous 😍😍
