First heard of independent verification organisations, or IVOs, from @BriTreece_, (co-founder and president of @fathom_org and executive director of @pactai_org, on a @linuxfoundation webinar launching “Proof of Control” (congrats @triciawang and @aai_society)
"State backed Digital ID systems still tend to rely on centralized issuance, persistent identifiers, & institutional trust anchors" - Cheqd
aka = systems.
The answer to verify those age whom are minors to protect online identity information being stored in centralized databases, is decentralized Identity.
You can prove what is TRUE about you example what age you are without having to reveal any other personal information to tell that source you are that age.
By using VCs ( Verifiable Credentials ) people can show cryptographic 'Proof of Age' without the need to reveal any information regarding documentation numbers, sharing names or DOB etc.
Cheqd has explained the very reason why DeIDs are the answer the "digital age" we have entered and why we need to take safeguards. $CHEQ
As more countries explore age assurance online, one question matters:
How do we protect young people without collecting more personal data than necessary?
Privacy-preserving digital identity could be part of the answer. 👇

You can say Cheqd already has their foot in the door to the US.

plus the countless other partners that are building while everybody is silent.
Our partner @AnonyomeLabs has announced a pilot programme with Utah Valley University.
This initiative enables students to test secure digital versions of their student IDs and academic credentials in a mobile wallet environment, running on cheqd.

UC has been in this place for awhile to understand this is not just some "token down = bad project" mindset of most of the crypto space.
When you realize Cheqd is not here for you but rather for enterprise and the future of what's being built, then you'll realize it's potential is more than just "price action".
I noticed this with Quant Network years ago and now Cheqd Network.
The trust graph part of it explained by UC below is exactly why it'll survive, the layer (map) of who trust who, how and why built from DIDs, DID linked resources, verifiable accreditations for people, AI agents , and organizations to provide the "trust" without using a central list. $CHEQ
I think the next layer of the internet is not another search engine. It’s a trust graph.
A machine-readable layer where identities, assets, claims, credentials and events are connected through organised, time-stamped provenance.
Not just:
“Who is this?”
But:
Who issued this?
What happened before it?
What happened after it?
Who was authorised to make that claim?
Was it revoked?
What evidence supports it?
Can the entire provenance path be replayed?
Imagine trust as a graph of cryptographically verifiable events, where every relationship has provenance and every state change can be independently verified.
Then verification becomes an economic primitive.
A verifier can request verification of an evidence path and pay the issuer for the cryptographic verification. Multiple dependencies can be verified together as a single verification operation, producing a replayable verification receipt containing the evidence that was checked.
AI becomes the interface to this layer.
Instead of humans manually navigating credentials, databases and records, you ask:
“Can you verify this?”
AI traverses the trust graph, finds the relevant evidence, determines what needs to be verified, follows the provenance chain and returns the answer with the evidence path.
The database isn't the source of trust.
The graph is the organised map of relationships.
The cryptographic proofs are the trust layer.
The receipts are the audit trail.
And AI is the navigation layer.
That feels like a fundamentally different way of thinking about the internet:
Information connected by links → data connected by relationships → relationships connected by verifiable provenance.
A trust layer underneath the information layer of the internet.
The crazy thing is, this can be done today @cheqd_io $cheq

It’s becoming clear as day… ethereum:0x4a220e6096b25eadb88358cb44068a3248254675
🔒Oracle- Used by over 90% of T1 financial institutions
🔒Clearing House- Only private sector ACH provider
🔒Murex- Used by 65% of top global banks
🔒Dentsu- Used by 100% of Japanese megabanks
🔒 LACChain- Largest public permissioned DLT globally
🔒 SIA/Nexi- #1 provider for EU banking rails
🔒 UK Finance- GBTD 1st ever live tokenized deposit TX
🔒 ISO- #1 global standardization body worldwide
🔒 Bank of England- 1st API based CBDC architecture
The goal has never been to partner with EVERY bank or EVERY enterprise infrastructure provider.
It's to go to the names that already are leading their respective industries.
Afterwards... Agnostic Interoperability does the rest🤫
It's happening...
$QNT is being connected through the worldwide banking system 🫡
Underestimating the potential of $QNT is like missing out on the introduction of the internet and Web 2.0.
We have already seen the founding fathers establish the foundation of the internet and the websites we have all come and use everyday.
Quant Network is becoming the standard for CBDC development, Tokenization, Digital Currencies, and beyond,
The work that is being done behind closed doors is insane, the next step for the digital world is upon us and it will be replacing but adding alot of new roles here,
◽️ Buying properties won't be the same..
◽️ Browsing the internet,
◽️ Paying for goods and services,
◽️ Digital Identifications,
◽️ "Testing" products before you buy with VR/AR,
The possibilities are endless for the upgrades we will be getting.
Some might see this as a downgrade as a step in technology...
It all depends on how you look at it though.
What I see happening here soon is a merge with centralization and decentralization for the foreseeable future .
So true,
Most small start ups die in crypto by PA
but when you factor in that Cheqd has everything that is necessary to become one of the largest players in the field - the perspective goes well past what their utility token price is and more so what they offer and whom they serve.
$CHEQ is silent until it's not.
The nature of crypto is death by price action.
Unfortunately, and similarly fortunate for $cheq - is that it's not vapourware.
@cheqd_io legitimately has infrastructure for W3C decentralized Identifiers, where identity verification providers and therefore agent solutions for agent delegation and authority gain major advantages.
Its early and ever changing, and in a weird way the ai wave has probably pushed adoption back.
But, dont take it for granted.
Again, its not vapourware.
And it keeps getting tested in bleeding edge decentralized infrastructure/protocol solutions.
Like DIF KYA-OS spec.
Quant is not slowing down.
A ledger records what moved. It rarely records why. That gap is where banks will earn on #tokeniseddeposits.
Our new whitepaper 'Above the Ledger' by our Chief Commercial Officer, Lenna Russ, shows how banks can commercialise them.

People need to wake up to the fact that their identity, information, relationships, behaviour and the data they create are becoming one of the most valuable assets in the digital economy—yet control over those assets largely sits with the platforms collecting them.
The issue isn't simply seeing an ad or having a company store your data; it's that centralised platforms can accumulate enormous amounts of information, combine it, derive new information about you, monetise it, and make your digital life increasingly dependent on systems you don't control.
As AI agents become capable of acting on our behalf, that problem becomes even more serious: whoever controls the identity, keys, permissions and data controls the digital relationship. People should be demanding a different architecture—their identity, their keys, their data, explicit permission for access, limited delegation, transparency, portability and the ability to revoke authority.
Privacy shouldn't mean asking a corporation nicely not to misuse your information; it should mean having the cryptographic and technical ability to control who can access it in the first place.
@cheqd_io $cheq
Quant is King.
Big news: Quant is partnering with @TCHtweets to bring on-chain, #programmablemoney to the US.
We will provide the interoperability layer that lets #tokeniseddeposits move freely within the regulated banking system.
This builds on our work in the UK, Europe and beyond.

🇬🇧The UK Gov launched Wholesale Digital Markets Champions Task Force
A public private DLT finance initiative
EVERY bank that tested in GBTD orchestrated by Quant is present here.
But there's more
We see various other Enterprise DLTs present
Hedera
Ripple
XDC
Canton
Chainlink
Avalanche
Another interesting point here is the involvement of Archax, which as we know is DEEPLY tied to Hedera
We have a pretty interesting coalition here
Archax is the FIRST UK FCA regulated tokenization platform & leverages Hedera to make it possible.
On top of this, we've seen Archax & Aberdeen pioneer the first ever tokenized collateral transaction with an Aberdeen MMF & tokenized UK gilt, both on Hedera.
Hedera also had been selected as the ONLY public DLT in Bank of England's DLT Innovation Challenge,
Chainlink also falls in the DLT Innovation Challenge category, along with being in BoE's Sync Lab.
Ripple is in a unique position having partnered deeply with Santander, while also having an EMI license approved by UK FCA.
XDC Network is also present & they've got some serious history with the UK in trade finance.
This is through Enigio on XDC having executed the FIRST ever UK ETDA compliant transaction for paperless trade through Lloyds Bank.
–––––––––
This Task Force is truly bringing out the BEST in UK's DLT infrastructure development over the years.

✅Bank of England

Some news: I've joined EQUS to lead digital credentials, after four and a half fantastic years at cheqd 🎉
We've been in stealth. Today we're open-sourcing our first public product: the EQUS Credentials SDK, an Apache 2.0 Rust core for issuing, holding and verifying credentials
