Many of you rallied behind my family back in March as my brother, Matt, underwent his 4th open heart surgery. Unfortunately, my brother passed away suddenly on the morning of Thursday, September 17th. Matt was born with a heart defect and underwent surgeries at 7, 10, and 13. He was told he could never play sports and basically needed to stay inside for the rest of his life. Thank God my mom refused to allow that to happen. My brother mentored and inspired kids of all ages over the years. He loved baseball so much and he knew it like the back of his hand. But most of all, he loved coaching and teaching the sport to the youth. The support from his community has been overwhelming to say the least, but there’s still so much we can do to honor his legacy and support his family. Anything we can do to help my nephew, Jordan, and his mom, Nichole would mean the world to me. Prayers are greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼 I love you, Matty! gofund.me/25876ea89

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 🙏🏼

Happy Birthday, Brother! I’m blessed to have crossed paths with you. Thank you for always being such a great friend and providing me with so much knowledge and support. Everyone join me in wishing our favorite guardian a Happy Birthday!

Asking for silent prayers today. 🙏🏼 please keep my family in your prayers. It’s much needed.

My dad was active duty 25 years ago. He was set to retire the following year, but that was no longer an option. I will never forget the look of fear in my mom’s eyes as we all sat together watching the news - dad hard at work. God bless America. Hug someone today and be grateful.
