We’ve had wind, rain, sunshine and changing plans on this October programme, but the participants have applied all the tools we deliver and turned the challenges into opportunities 🙌 An exceptional week… and it’s only Wednesday! 💚💛

Our trial Bushcraft Programme went really well 😊 It included making tent pegs, building shelters, lighting fires, and laughing a lot! The group explored their relationships to past trauma and spent time looking at how to move forward. Finishing with a night under the stars ✨

They did it! 😀 50 miles completed in 23 hours for the Longmynd Hike. A huge well done to this amazing team. They showed exceptional teamwork, grit, and determination. 📸 From start to finish as one team!

We're excited to share that something new is in development at Climbing Out HQ! We are introducing a brand new bushcraft programme to complement our existing programmes and objectives, which will broaden the scope of who we can support 💚💛 We can't wait to launch this!

Two big training days done, with some challenging weather, but they're still smiling - what's an amazing bunch! This group is made up of people training for the upcoming Longmynd Hike, the 2027 Level 2 programme, and our next overseas expedition - exciting times ahead! 🤩

We loved having some junior hikers along for our fundraising hike last month. A special shout out to Harry and Sam for receiving Head of House Awards in their school assembly for their involvement. Fantastic work - well done lads! 🙌

Climbing Out was founded by Kelda 16 years ago. It's amazing to think how many people have attended programmes with us in that time. These photos are from an August programme 3 years ago in the Peak District - but it feels like yesterday 🙃

A really special part of this year's fundraising hike were the mini hikers! From the very youngest featured here, to the children who joined in on the shortest route and were part of the campsite fun - you really brought a family feel to the weekend, making it extra special 💚💛
