🚨The most important graph in the world has another 6 months of data!🚨 NASA CERES satellites measure how much sunlight Earth absorbs and how much heat is radiated back to space. The difference is heat accumulation, which has more than tripled over the past 26 years!

We very rarely think of climate and such simplified terms but this does an excellent job of showing the basic issue that we are absorbing more energy than we are releasing as a planet because of CO2 and over GHg emissions #climatechange
I agree with Leon that this is one of the most important graphs in the world. Please take time to understand this one ... it's another way of showing that the planet is currently heating at the rate of 14.45 HpS (10.7 billion cups of tea per second).

1. "I knew this was going to be happening, so did any climate scientist - but the speed is just staggering. Once you've got to the stage where you've got food rationing, then everything changes, everything's up for grabs." @ProfBillMcGuire, climate scientist UCL, author.
"I'm not a survivalist, but I'm certainly preparing. I mean, we're increasing the number of water butts, we're having water harvesting because that's going to be obviously a huge issue in summers to come. We're saving seed. We're not doing it yet, but we will be storing things like flour and sugar and cooking oil in relatively large quantities in the cellar because it's common sense" @AaronBastani in conversation with natural disaster expert @ProfBillMcGuire on this week's Downstream. I've heard repeatedly that new members of parliament are being lobbied by the gas industry on hydrogen for heating which we all know is a terrible idea. Here are the facts about hydrogen, the reasons for the lobbying and what we must do - to a drum and bass soundtrack. 🕺🕺

Strange that, when every country claims to be a ‘world leader’ on addressing climate change 😉. Someone must be telling an untruth … perhaps the atmosphere is conning us, or perhaps policy makers & their coopted acolytes are spinning a yarn? Now which is more likely 🤔

It’s high time we lock up those climate change activists blocking our roads. 🤔 This was yesterday in Spain.
