Here's why developing countries aren't going Net Zero.
People there are far more scared of being poor right now than they are concerned about a 1C rise in temperature in 50 years.
Rich entitled people worry about a distant End of the World
Poor people worry about the End of the Week
Replying to @latimeralder
A couple of pints of petrol a week is transformative in countries like Africa and India ... they don't want energy poverty. They need to fuel a moped or small stove in order to operate, eat, work ...live.

The climate narrative is collapsing. The IPCC meeting in Ethiopia ended in deadlock with no funding and no agreement on when to release the next report.
European countries and island states wanted it finished by 2028 to keep the pressure on. Saudi Arabia, China, India and Russia blocked it.
Fossil fuel shortages already wrecked fertilizer production and food security in multiple countries.

🤣Klimaat Feestje is voorbij.

The TBI and its "experts" are the problem.
This agenda began with Tony Blair, and it's not going to end with him.
The TBI, like all of the networks of blobs that infest British politics, to take it away from the public, want to SAVE Net Zero, in its grantors' interests.
The approval of Jackdaw is welcome news for the UK. But it won’t fix Britain’s energy system.
TBI expert @ToneLangengen explains why we need a fundamental reset to deliver cheaper, more secure power.

WHO chief suggests that carbon dioxide threatens vaccine progress! 🤡
Vaccines have saved more than 150 million lives over the past 50 years. But this progress is under threat from funding cuts, conflicts, climate change and misinformation.
With #measles outbreaks in dozens of countries, immunity gaps anywhere can threaten health security everywhere.
At the same time, innovation offers new hope: malaria vaccines are being rolled out, promising tuberculosis vaccines are in development, and new Ebola vaccines against Bundibugyo virus are approaching trials.
But vaccines only save lives when people can access and trust them.
@WHO calls on governments, scientists, health workers, industry, technology companies and communities to work together to ensure everyone has access to accurate, evidence-based vaccine information.
Everyone, everywhere, at every age deserves the protection vaccines offer.

This is worse than anyone thought, and proves it's not about education.

What a mess this is.
If it "makes sense" in 2026, then Labour's policy until this week did not make sense. And neither did any governments policy since the 1990s make sense. So it makes no sense to remain attached to the green energy agenda.
It's time to admit the mistakes.

This is quite interesting:
Two independent estimates of the evolution of Earth's gravity over the past 220 My produce very similar results.
One method is based on the measured body volume and estimated weight of extinct animals (mostly dinosaurs), while the other method uses a reconstruction of Earth's past diameter from a NOAA map of oceanic lithosphere ages done by Maxlow (2012). The first method uses the circumference of femur and humerus weight-bearing bones of extinct animals to estimate their weight when they were alive. The ratio of that weight to the animals' body mass (assuming an average tissue density of 0.99 tones m-3) gives an estimate of the relative gravity in the past. The second method assumes that Earth has been expanding according to Maxlow's Expansion Tectonics.
These results indicate that during the Mesozoic Era (the era of dinosaurs), from 252 My ago to 66 My ago, Earth's gravity was less than 75% of today's value. This can help explain the enormous sizes of some sauropods.

Socialism isn't a fringe idea anymore.
In 2018, 86 socialist candidates ran for office. This year, more than 200 are on the ballot, and they're no longer confined to New York and California. They're running in Texas, Kentucky, Montana and Michigan and more.

It was exactly the same in our Australia - our health Bureaucrats proclaimed "there was no evidence" - ignoring countless studies showing Ivermectin was an effective treatment.
They were either incompetent and failed to keep up to date with the evidence - or they were lying.
Either way, thousands paid for their negligence with their lives - denied access to a safe low cost medicine, while they were pumped full of Remdesivir and placed into induced comas and hooked up to respirators.
Ron Johnson confronts Dr. Fauci with a huge stack of papers, each one showing that ivermectin WORKS.
JOHNSON: "You said there's no evidence that ivermectin is helpful."
"On that exact same day... There was a website that was tracking the randomized controlled studies."
"Here they are showing 60, 70% efficacy of ivermectin. The same day you say there's no evidence. There was all kinds of evidence."

Not for the first time, political activists posing as 'academics' at @cardiffuni have stretched definitions of terms like "impartiality" in order to censor democratic, public discussion, at the taxpayer's expense.
There's a £627,173 taxpayer-funded study that mentions GB News and Talk TV:
'Debates about the impartiality of news media in the UK have intensified in recent years. New broadcasters, such as GB News and TalkTV, have pushed the boundaries of the UK's "due impartiality laws"'
