According to a UN Report released today, Canada will face increasing climate change impacts and "we have to live with this warmer world."
This underscores how urgently we need to adapt. Canada must renew and invest in the National Adaptation Strategy to ensure Canadians are protected from this new reality.

As Ottawa pursues an ambitious nation-building agenda, it should remembered that the weather interrupted nation's Canada Day party.
Without a stronger focus on adaptation, natural disasters will increasingly undermine the economic and infrastructure objectives that we are collectively working to achieve.

Canada is strengthening its wildfire response.
Our new government announced a $316.7M investment to expand national aerial firefighting capacity through CIFFC that will use this funding to lease and manage the deployment of that capacity where it is the most needed.
We are taking leadership by bolstering support to provinces and territories and helping protect communities from growing wildfire threats. 🇨🇦🌳
