New Jersey has fined a large data center in New Jersey over $1 million for installing and operating 62 large gas powered generators without state permits.
This comes as numerous other data centers, most notoriously Elon Musk's facilities in Memphis, pollute communities with unpermitted turbines and face no consequences.
