“I am very clear in my commitment to a gradual phase-out of russian gas… it is an absolute necessity. We have made progress, but we always see, of course, that there are loopholes where we have to be careful and where we have to work,” she told reporters in Brussels.
Ursula von der Leyen is lying, because in fact data shows that the EU has imported MORE russian LNG in recent years, especially in 2023 and 2024, than before the Ukraine war.
