After thousands of applications, a rigorous review process and the Computer-Based Test, shortlisted candidates are now sitting for the DSFP 6.0 interviews. This is where we get to meet the people behind the applications, hear their stories, understand their motivations, and see the passion, potential, and commitment that brought them this far. The competition has been intense. The candidates have been exceptional. Who will make the top 40? The interviews will tell.

The Race For DSFP 6.0 Top 40 Is Heating Up! The DSFP 6.0 CBT results are in, and the Average Performance Scores will be announced shortly. This year’s performance has been particularly strong, with one of the highest Average Performance Scores recorded in the program’s six-year history. And that tells us something: the competition is getting tougher. The applicants who have made it this far have demonstrated impressive knowledge, preparation, and potential. With so many strong candidates in the running, the final selection is shaping up to be highly competitive. But there’s still one more stage to go. 🎯 Phase 3: The Interviews. For transparency, candidates will see their aggregated score immediately after completing the test. Only applicants who score above the average CBT performance score will be invited to the third and final phase of the selection process. Our selection committee has begun reviewing DSFP 6.0 submissions. Every applicant’s Statement of Purpose, video submission, skills, experience and other application information will be considered as part of the review process. 📌 A few important things applicants should note: 1. Is your video accessible? If you submitted your video through an external link such as Google Drive or YouTube, the link must have the appropriate viewing permissions. An inaccessible video risks disqualification. 2. Did you submit your own work? The selection committee will assess the authenticity and quality of your application. If you plagiarised your Statement of Purpose or relied on AI to write your application, be aware that this may affect the assessment of your submission. Your application should reflect your own experiences, abilities, motivations and voice. 3. Your Statement of Purpose matters. The 350-word statement asked you to explain the experience or personal quality that prepares you to contribute to Kaduna State’s use of data and AI to improve health outcomes, as well as the steps you have already taken to build your data or AI skills. 4. Your video matters too. The 2-minute video gives you an opportunity to introduce yourself, share what excites you about DSFP 6.0, explain what you hope to bring to the fellowship and how you see yourself contributing to Kaduna State’s health data and AI goals. 5. The review goes beyond the essay and video. Your education, professional experience, technical skills, project links, programme commitment and other information provided in your application also form part of the information available for review. Successful applicants will be invited to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) stage. Check your email this weekend for updates from the DSFP team. The review is underway. The next phase of applications, which is the Computer-Based Test Exercise, will commence next week.
