Let’s celebrate these fantastic women! Des, who received her #ButlerPharmacy white coat yesterday. And Sharon, @ButlerAlumni powerhouse and the best friend anyone could wish for. Love you both! 💙🤍
I spent four very happy years volunteering at the ZWest Media Center. To see that it is still “a happy place“ for others fills my heart! #iLoveMyLibrary @hmmplfoundation – at Dunn Loring, VA
The only thing that could take me out of my self-imposed social media hiatus…@butleru #ButlerHoCo. We’ve all been hit by the pandemic in different ways. Coming together virtually with @ButlerAlumni has made me feel less blue…and in a beautiful way, even more Blue! 💙 – at Zionsville, IN
Who doesn’t love #ButlerHoCo swag?! @slmyrs, I know you will be using these downloadable gift tags this year! @TheButlerBlue @ButlerAlumni

Our librarians get it. Miss Becky received a grant from @INHumanities for materials on #racialinjustice. A thought-provoking, curated collection is a welcomed addition to the HMMPL and will be supported by our staff with their trademark humility. #DiscoverHMMPL #iLoveMyLibrary
Thanks to Lilly Endowment, we've awarded 150 libraries funds to purchase highly sought-after books, digital materials, & films addressing racial injustice in America to add to circulating collections in their communities.

So many of us recognize the amazing work our teachers have done to adapt. So have our librarians! Let’s show our appreciation for their efforts during the #foundinabook thankfulness and fundraising campaign! @ZPLinfo @ilfonline @state_library @ZionsvilleIN @WhitestownIN
Quick switch from live to virtual events. Online resources expanded. Curbside pick up of materials implemented, along with an app to make the process seamless. Librarians can pivot with the best of them. Let’s thank them! #foundinabook #HMMPLFoundation youtu.be/bJ5JwGE_vX4
We all have noticed how skillfully #teachers have pivoted. Let’s now thank our #librarians and #PublicLibrary staff for all they’ve done to keep lifelong learning a part of our lives in 2020. #iLoveMyLibrary #HMMPLFoundation #LibrariesStrong @ilfonline

One of the many reasons #iLoveMyLibrary
“Libraries are warzones for truth...We never stop searching for the truth, even in a global crisis. Libraries understand that untruths are one of the most tangible forms of mental illness.” @ala #HMMPLFoundation ala-apa.org/newsletter/2020/…
The @WHO calls it an “infodemic” of misleading COVID-19 information. If you have questions you just can’t answer, @ZPLinfo reference librarians are still available to help at askalib@zionsvillelibrary.org. @ZionsvilleIN @WhitestownIN
Download this infographic from @IFLA re: COVID-19 misinformation. “Libraries have long had a role in helping users become more critical and discerning with the information they find.” #LibrariesStrong @ALA @ala_united #HMMPLFoundation #DiscoverHMMPL

Echoed by every presenter in this webinar: libraries aren’t officially deemed as “essential“ now, yet libraries are now and will be essential to a robust recovery. #LibrariesStrong #HMMPLFoundation @CFBooneCo @BooneEDC @ZionsvilleIN @WhitestownIN @ZvilleChamber

Recently talked to someone (at a distance) on a laptop on the bench at the 6th St. entrance. I pardoned myself for interrupting. She said, "No problem. Just finishing classwork on the Library WiFi." #LibrariesStrong When 'non-essential' is anything but thehill.com/opinion/healthca…

When you wake up at 3am obessing about your upcoming #publiclibrary fundraiser, you calm yourself by listening to a book about books. Am I right? Who’s with me?!
(BTW, halfway through listening to this on @LibbyApp, I bought the book, it’s that good) #BookBall2020 #nonprofitlife

I’ve loved working with Collin since my days at @ZEFin140! Since then, he’s done amazing work for @ZvilleChamber, the Zionsville Fire Department, and the Town of @ZionsvilleIN. So talented and a joy to work with. Love seeing @amateurhourprod thriving! #videographer #madskills
Filming yesterday of the #BookBall2020 video with @amateurhourprod’s Collin Stroup. When he was a young @MyZvilleSchools student, Collin and his friends would ride bikes to the Library to hang out during summer breaks.
He gets it. #iLoveMyLibrary
