Nice: Hilton is rolling out "Pay with Points" to cover eligible in-room charges at properties - only with status (Silver and up). Not nice: Hilton won't share the points-to-dollar value for these redemptions. Translation: It's (probably) gonna suck.

“May be” “subject to ticket availability” Weasel words I call them. Contracts are full of them. It allows moving goal post and changes without being subject to material side of clauses. It’s similar to how companion passes on delta only allow certain fare buckets.
Two brothers who each paid $1,000 for a Milwaukee Brewers “Timeless Ticket” more than a decade ago say the team isn’t honoring its promise to give them the best available seats for the World Series.

Alright I just realized ORD issues LASHOs for the west center runway landing flow to cross traffic down field.
Replying to @airline_king
ORD leans too hard on those intersection takeoffs. 10L at DD or 28R at EE is just normal at this point. Should be building full end-around taxiways everywhere the way ATL did with Victor and Whiskey.

Officer sniffed the bs from the start
Officer honors his oath to the constitution by standing up for the citizen and not doing the dirty work for corrupt politicians. When government officials view public buildings as their private castles, law enforcement is far too often weaponized as personal security to silence or remove everyday citizens. This encounter at Gainesville City Hall is a rare and powerful reminder of what it actually looks like when a police officer honors his oath to the Constitution instead of bowing to political pressure. Derek Walker walked into Gainesville City Hall for a lawful, routine reason: to deliver official paperwork regarding an ongoing legal dispute and inquire about the status of a settlement with the city. City staff told him to take a seat in the public lobby, promising that someone from City Attorney Daniel Nee’s office would come downstairs to address his inquiry. Walker sat patiently on a bench for nearly two hours, speaking cordially with building security and waiting on public servants to do their jobs. Rather than coming down to face a constituent, the City Attorney’s office attempted to use government muscle to make him disappear. Officials told building security to throw him out, and when security noted they lacked any legal grounds to do so, a call was placed to the Gainesville Police Department demanding that Walker be formally trespassed from public property. When Officer Isaac Sutton arrived on scene, he didn't just blindly follow orders or act as an administrative rubber stamp. He conducted an actual investigation. He questioned lobby security, who confirmed on the record that Walker had caused zero disturbance, broken no laws, and never attempted to breach restricted areas—he was simply sitting in a public lobby waiting for public officials. When city representative David Jarvis pressed for a formal trespass warning simply because city attorneys didn't want to deal with Walker, Officer Sutton drew a hard line in defense of civil liberties: "Me personally, my name going on the trespass for someone that was sitting there waiting for representation from the city... I'm not putting my name on the trespass." Officer Sutton openly recognized the situation for what it was, bureaucratic retaliation, and flatly refused to put his signature on an unconstitutional enforcement action. When officers are pressured by high-ranking city brass, taking the easy way out is what happens all too often. Officer Sutton stood up for an everyday citizen, held the line against executive overreach, and proved that a badge belongs to the Constitution, not the bruised egos of city officials. This is what you want to see from your local law enforcement. Great job by this officer.

I don’t think I’ll be commenting on flight content going forward. More to come. 🤫

I’m not the guy to refuse a certified letter from if you’re in a regulated industry. That forwarding and dodging game works on others. Not on me. Resend certified, and first class, while also copying your regulatory body about the games your playing. Arbiters love this too 🍾

Have a 145 tomorrow. 0 Starlink. At least my Buick seat like equipped old 737 will. Probably will still complain about the new first class less padding 🫣
For fun, I wanted to see how Starlink has spread across United's network. In August, 44% of United's domestic flights were on a Starlink jet, up from 1% in May 2025. Key findings: If you want Starlink on United, DON'T fly Newark to San Francisco. In August, 1% of United's Newark to San Francisco flights had Starlink, and none of its Newark to LA flights did. Those routes run on 757s and widebodies, and United has only done 6 widebodies so far. LaGuardia to Chicago was at 52%. The fastest Wi-Fi on United went on its smallest planes first. United started with its regional jets that have a first class cabin, the E175s and CRJ-550s, and said more than 300 of them were done by February. Mainline picked up this summer, with more than 50 jets a month in July and August, starting with the 737-800s, 737-900s, and A321neos. The 737 MAX was just starting in August, and the A319, A320, and 757 were still at zero. The 50-seaters with one cabin haven't gotten it yet either. None of United's 90 CRJ-200s or 55 ERJ-145s have Starlink. United now runs its own tracker, and it says 48% of flights have Starlink today, up from my 44% in August. That fits, since about 90 more jets have gotten it since then, for 645 total. Chicago is highest at 56% of departures, and San Francisco is lowest at 35%. United says it's on track to finish by the end of 2027.

Bro: “100 gallons (of diesel), already north of $690. Used to be able to get 100 for $260.” Same fuel. Same distances out of it. Prices on shelves don’t sit still. A business isn’t eating this cost.

Blaming everything but scalpers. Wild.

there’s a very real chance Apple sells more iPhone Duos in the next week than Samsung did in their entire 8 years of making foldables 💀

Dude paid a $50k deposit in 2027 and waited 8 years for a car that was never delivered. What the fuck would you expect from him? Wiggle his tail full of joy and optimism after watching yet another PR stunt?
Wow, MKBHD has changed. Sad.

So a woman booked a full-face makeup appointment for $200 and went to her wedding. Now the makeup artist is upset because she normally charges brides $800 for the SAME makeup. Since when do we get mad because somebody didn’t pay a wedding markup? The makeup didn’t take any longer just because she was a bride! 😂
