As of 6 p.m. today, Cleco has restored power to 83% of the 12,647 customers who lost power during Tropical Storm Arthur.
While we've made significant progress, some customers in Bunkie, Mansura and Slidell will be without power overnight as crews continue to remove downed trees, repair broken poles and clear downed power lines.
Constant rain and flooded roadways have made it difficult to access certain areas and complete the necessary repairs. However, crews will continue working throughout the evening where conditions are safe to do so.

The hardest hit parishes are Avoyelles and St. Tammany.
Cleco crews have reported damaged poles, crossarms and downed power lines due to high winds, lightning and flooding. In some areas, restoration efforts cannot begin until the floodwaters recede.
Crews in areas that were not impacted by the storm have been deployed to assist with restoration in the hardest-hit areas.

TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR: Cleco is prepared for Tropical Storm Arthur, which is projected to bring heavy rain, flooding and high winds, as it moves northeastward across Louisiana tonight and tomorrow.
