I didn't want to do the usual 'road to 1,000' post. So I built a wall instead: one brick for every person who's followed along, with your handle on it. Search yours and see if you can find you. 🔍
The gold brick, #1,000, is still open. Could it be you?

Missing the deadline after weeks of building stings, but sticking with SHIFT anyway is the right call. Keep shipping it.

Losing a domain for 6 months over one ignored email is brutal. Scanning everything with VisionKit so it never happens twice is a smart fix.

A pinned page that gets replaced, not appended, is a clean rule. Who decides when a note gets promoted to that page, you or the agent?
Checked in while they're tiny is fair. Once a second person starts editing, a script that rebuilds them saves you from the 'why is my copy different' bug. Good luck with it.

Tags make sense. Keeping notes scoped by default and sharing only what's tagged feels like the safer way round, so one agent's half-baked notes don't become everyone's truth. Good luck with Space.
Windows plus symlinks is a classic trap. Do you keep the pointer files checked in, or generate them with a script so nobody edits a copy by mistake?

Standouts this week 🌟
fauxnix by 20000419: lets coding agents run bash-style commands (grep, sort, wc and more) natively on Windows through PowerShell, with no WSL. CLI plus an MCP server that keeps your working directory between calls. It runs real commands, so it's not a sandbox. github.com/20000419/fauxnix
ReaCut by ZOOZOO: a local multitrack video editor with SRT/WebVTT subtitles and an optional Codex side panel. Early preview, Mac-first. github.com/Xiangyu-CAS/rea-c…
Thank you both for building in the open 🙏
5/ YoVoice by @leemysw
A local music and audio studio for Mac and Windows. In testing, the Windows CLI turned a JSON score into a MIDI file and back with the notes intact, and its MCP server started up and listed its tools. Code is Apache-2.0; model licenses vary.
Use it to:
• Write a short score as JSON
• Export it to MIDI for your DAW
• Reimport the MIDI to keep editing
Thank you 🙏

4/ claude-code-mods by @ihamzafer
A marketplace of add-ons for the Claude Code terminal: status bars, panes, guards, even games. Install only the mods you want, per user or per project. MIT.
Use it to:
• Watch context use and how close you are to compaction (Context Bar)
• Track running subagents and background shells in one place (Agent Radar)
• Preview and pick exact mods before installing
Pick and choose. Some mods enforce the builder's own Git rules, and some are macOS-only.
Thank you 🙏
