Poilievre was doing what many did right after, assuming it was terrorism. For a guy who claims the media lies he's pretty comfortable using CTV as a shield. Leaders should wait for facts. You can tell he feels caught...80% of his reply is an unrelated attack on the reporter.
In this clip, @PierrePoilievre calls out a CP reporter for asking a loaded, inaccurate question. She asked if it was responsible for him to call the event on the Rainbow Bridge terrorism when in fact, he asked a Q based on media reports. He schooled her.

Never met a journalist who "reports what they're told". That's stenography, not journalism. Fascinated by the replies asking why CBC is so pro-Poliviere. 180ยฐ from the long held complaint that they always praise Liberals. 'Good journalists only support MY world view!'
Just got a private, plaintive message from someone who said it must be difficult to only be able to report what I'm told. I'm sure the sender is sincere. But I also know he's wrong. Reply however you like but it's important to make clear: I have never been prevented by anyone from reporting what's accurate. Ever. I'm sure my colleagues at CBC and other media organizations have exactly the same experience.

appointments. All of this because I updated my devices to ios17.1.1 (problem started that minute). So @AppleSupport, is this that thing the insurance industry does where they make the process so frustrating they hope you'll just stop calling? If so, congrats. It's working.

Yes, of course, 'the media' is the enemy again. Not the wide, sweeping, antisimetic theory you plainly endorsed. Just man up and apologize. Say "I misspoke. Sorry" Easy.

This was my thought. The driver in the video is 100% in the wrong. But yes, definitely remind pedestrians to watch out. EVERY DAY on my bike I encounter at least one head-down pedestrian who walks into traffic, never even hinting at turning their head.
People are freaking out again about the same RCMP video that was posted like 3 years ago. DUH the pedestrian shouldnโ€™t NEED to pay extra attention, but if you value your life you may want to pay attention bc idiots are out there is the point.

If you ever get a chance to go for a four hour dinner with my old friend, Dale Wolfe, and then bike home late along the seawall, I highly recommend it

Hey VO fam, The Auschwitz Museum is currently looking for a Female VA with a home studio to help with their historical podcast. Please see below ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
We are currently seeking a native English-speaking woman who would be willing to assist us with our podcast voiceovers. Our podcast, "On Auschwitz," delves into various aspects of the history of the German Nazi camp. Some of the historians we feature on the podcast primarily speak Polish, which is why we require voiceover translations. Each podcast episode typically runs for around 30 minutes, and we anticipate needing your assistance a few times a year. We are looking for an individual with some recording experience and access to recording equipment. We need only the recording as we do all the editing. We can also help with challenges of pronounciation of some of the difficult words. Presently, there are three podcast episodes on hold due to the absence of an English speaker. If you are open to contributing your skills and becoming involved in this educational project that reaches with historical facts to global audiences, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at podcast[at]auschwitz.org You can listen to our podcast at podcast.auschwitz.org

Check this out, in spite of all the โ€œthis country is going to hell in a handcartโ€œ posts you see. This is either a genuine feather in our cap, or evidence that the rest of the world really really sucks.
