Seeking the Lord is not a formal appointment we keep when everything is calm; it is the quiet turning of the heart toward Him while the fears are still loud. He does not wait for us to tidy our thoughts first. He hears the seeking itself. Emotionally, fear has a way of shrinking the world until it feels like only the next worry is real. Spiritually, this verse reminds us that the same God who heard David’s cry still hears ours. When we bring the fear into His presence instead of rehearsing it alone, something shifts. The weight does not always vanish in a moment, yet the isolation of it does. We are heard. We are not left to manage the night or the morning by ourselves.
