I was a combat soldier in an elite IDF unit. I served in the West Bank and witnessed firsthand how settlers could do whatever they wanted with impunity. Today Iโ€™m the Executive Director of ืดBreaking the Silenceืด an organization that has collected thousands of testimonies from Israeli soldiers over the past two decades. And I can say with certainty that this statement by IDF spokesperson is a lie. The IDF is not trying to stop Jewish terrorism in the occupied territories. In fact, it protects Jewish terrorists and arms them with US-made M16 rifles. If the IDF genuinely wanted to stop Jewish terrorism, the Chief of Staff could simply order the 30,000 soldiers stationed in the West Bank to carry out arrests. Itโ€™s that simple.

Luego el multilateralismo se debilitรณ, polarizรณ a niveles injustificables, bajo los que un paรญs como Chile pierden mucho mรกs que ganan. Se optรณ por caer en esa polarizaciรณn, y al final no se ganรณ nadaโ€ฆ solo aranceles injustificados y debilitamiento de soberanรญa. This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. Con borrones y cuenta nueva NO se construye ciudad, ni justicia urbana y menos unidad. Las comunas de Estaciรณn Central, Lo Prado y Maipรบ serรกn, una vez mรกs, discriminadas.
