𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃 🤎 The club are terribly sad to announce the passing of without doubt the #1 fan at Horbury Town, our Malcy after a short but hard fought battle with illness. Malcy was everything that Horbury stands for - passionate, encouraging, family, but mostly importantly, heart. He leaves a huge hole in the heart of the club and will be dearly missed. Rarely missing a game - even back to the early West Yorkshire days when crowds didn’t even surpass ten. Him and Kath would always make every effort to be there. His positivity in the toughest times at the club speak volumes of the man he was. Quite hard to put into words just how well thought of he was by everyone at the club, players past and present too. As a mark of respect, there will be a minutes applause of Saturday’s game against Parkgate for everyone to pay their respects. There will also be a donation box at the game for the chosen charity of the family. Let’s pack the crowd out, get behind the team - just like Malc did and come together for one of life’s best. #ProudToBeTown
