I guess I became Anti-Islam when I saw them behead Christians, burn people alive, chant death to America, stone women,
throw gays from rooftops, attack women with acid, practice female genital mutilation, enslave women,
and force child marriage.
And that's the short list.
What about you?

Dear John,
Chapter and verse. You asked for it at the bottom of your thread like it was some kind of mic drop, so let's actually open the Book together instead of quote-mining it for a punchline between sets, shall we?
"The Bible never bans abortion." That is a classic argument from silence, and any freshman debate student could poke a hole in it before finishing their coffee. The Bible also never uses the word "trinity." It never says "Rapture." It never says "Bible," for that matter. Silence on a specific modern term is not the same as silence on the underlying principle, and you know this, John, you are just hoping your audience does not.
Try Exodus 21:22-25. If two men fighting cause a pregnant woman to give birth prematurely and the child dies, the text prescribes life for life, the same penalty as killing a born person. Try Psalm 139:13-16, where God knits the psalmist together in his mother's womb and sees his "unformed substance" before a single day of his life had come to be. Try Jeremiah 1:5, where God says "before I formed you in the womb I knew you." That is not poetic filler, John, that is the consistent biblical picture of who counts as a "neighbor" you are commanded to love.
And since you want to lean on science, let's lean on science. Embryologists Moore and Persaud write that human development begins at fertilization, when a sperm fuses with an oocyte to form a single cell called the zygote, and that this "highly specialized totipotent cell marks the beginning of each of us as a unique individual." O'Rahilly and Muller call fertilization "a critical landmark" because a new, genetically distinct human organism is formed. Even Peter Singer admits an embryo conceived from human sperm and egg is a human being from the first moment of its existence. You do not need Leviticus to know what is in the womb. You need a biology textbook.
If your only defense is that the being in question is small, undeveloped, located somewhere inconvenient, or dependent on someone else to survive, congratulations, you have just described every toddler, every newborn, and Stephen Hawking. Size, level of development, environment, and degree of dependency have never been morally relevant categories for who gets to keep their life, unless you are also comfortable applying that logic to the kid asleep in the car seat behind you.
Now, "Jesus bans the death penalty." No, He did not, and this is where you really needed a better research assistant. John 8 is a story about a mob dragging out a woman, conveniently leaving out the man she was supposedly caught with, and trying to stone her without due process. That is a rebuke of hypocrisy and mob justice, not a repeal of Levitical law. Paul, writing under the same Spirit you claim to be quoting, tells the Romans that the governing authority "does not bear the sword in vain," because it is "the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer" (Romans 13:4). Jesus Himself said plainly, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matthew 5:17). You cannot cite the Sermon on the Mount and skip the sentence sitting right in front of it. That is not scholarship, that is a magic trick, and not a very good one.
"Welcome the stranger." Correct, and also incomplete, which is becoming a theme with you tonight. The Hebrew Bible distinguishes the ger, the lawful sojourner who submits to Israel's laws, from the nokri, the outsider who does not. Leviticus 19:34 tells you how to treat the FORMER. Exodus 12:49 says "there shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you," meaning the stranger follows the same law, not that Israel dissolves its own borders and calls it hospitality. Nations having boundaries is not a MAGA invention, John, it goes back to Acts 17:26, where Paul says God "determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place" for the nations He made. Order and compassion were never mutually exclusive. Only pretending they are gets you invited on cable news.
You want a chapter and verse MAGA "actually fights for"? Try Matthew 19:4-6, where Jesus Himself, not Paul, not Moses, JESUS, defines marriage as one man and one woman becoming one flesh, and says "what God has joined together, let not man separate." Look it up. Chapter. Verse. You are welcome.
Quinn's Law number six says facts are the enemy of liberalism, and tonight you proved it live in front of 3,490 people who mistook a comedy bit for a Bible study. You did not need facts here, John, you needed a mic, a smug grin, and an audience that will not check the footnotes before they retweet you. That is not apologetics, that is a bit, and it plays about as well as trying to hand-feed a shark and calling it theology.
And to your commenter david loya, who called your guests "totally fakes" while also swallowing your entire thread whole, I would point out that being unimpressed by one side's theater while getting mesmerized by the other side's is not exactly the intellectual independence you think it is.
But what do I know, I am only someone who reads the whole chapter before tweeting the verse, and who apparently paid more attention in Sunday school than a man who gets paid to host a comedy news show.

It is June. National Gun Violence Awareness Month.
And I have a story the media buried the moment it happened — exactly one year ago this month.
June 22, 2025. CrossPointe Community Church. Wayne, Michigan. Sunday morning service. About 150 people inside, including CHILDREN attending Vacation Bible School.
Brian Browning, 31, pulled into that parking lot wearing camouflage and a tactical vest. He got out of his silver SUV. He had an AR-15-style rifle, a semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine, MORE THAN A DOZEN fully loaded magazines, and HUNDREDS of rounds of ammunition.
Let me let that sink in. Hundreds of rounds. Children in that building.
He opened fire.
Here is where the story changes. Deacon Richard Pryor was running late and pulled into the parking lot. He saw Browning walking toward the entrance. He made a decision — and he drove his truck directly into the shooter, stopping his advance and alerting the security team inside. Simultaneously, Jay Trombley — a volunteer. Not a cop. A VOLUNTEER — heard "AR-15" from a fleeing woman inside, and he moved TOWARD the sound instead of away from it. The security team locked the front doors, engaged Browning, and shot him dead.
One security guard took a non-fatal round to the leg. That is it. No children died. Nobody in that sanctuary died. 150 people went home to their families.
Wayne Police Chief Ryan Strong said it plainly: "We are grateful for the heroic actions of the church's staff members, who UNDOUBTEDLY SAVED MANY LIVES and prevented a LARGE-SCALE MASS SHOOTING."
Now. Where was CNN? Where was MSNBC? Where was the hand-wringing, breathless, 48-hour wall-to-wall coverage that we get every single time a gun is used to harm someone?
I will tell you where it was. It was nowhere. Because nobody died — outside of the attacker who chose that outcome for himself. And a story where an armed citizen STOPS a massacre does not fit the June narrative. It never does.
This is Quinn's Law Number One in neon lights: LIBERALISM PRODUCES THE OPPOSITE OF ITS STATED INTENT. They say they want to stop gun violence. They suppress the single most important data point — that armed, prepared, TRAINED citizens stop gun violence MORE OFTEN than they create it.
The Gun Violence Archive tracked over 18,000 documented defensive gun uses between 2014 and 2025. A JAMA Network Open study published in March 2025 estimated 489,000 defensive gun uses annually in which a firearm was DISCHARGED. Not brandished. Discharged. The National Crime Victimization Survey puts the floor at 65,000 per year on the conservative end. But the media covers approximately zero of them with any consistency, because zero dead bodies at a Sunday service does not generate the donations and the outrage clicks that their editorial model depends on.
74% of convicted felons in a National Institute of Justice survey said they AVOIDED homes they believed were occupied by armed residents. SEVENTY-FOUR PERCENT. The deterrence is real and the data is not ambiguous. But they need you not to know that.
I want to be clear about something. I am not some glib armchair observer making abstract policy arguments. I am a medically retired Army combat medic. I have seen what happens when the people who need protection have none. I have packed wounds that should have been fatal. I have held men together with my hands. I have put consequences of violence into black bags. And I am telling you with every ounce of authority that experience gives me: DISARMING THE LAW-ABIDING DOES NOT PROTECT ANYONE. It only changes who holds the power in the moment that power matters most.
CrossPointe Community Church had a trained, armed security team because they took responsibility for the people in their care. They went to training THREE DAYS before the shooting. Three days.
The Supreme Court has ruled — twice — that the government has NO legal obligation to protect you. DeShaney v. Winnebago County (1989). Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales (2005). You are your own first responder. Jay Trombley said those exact words after he survived.
You want to do something meaningful this June? Share this story. The one they will not tell you. Then go get your carry permit and your training, because the police will do their absolute best — and they will still arrive after. That is not a criticism. That is physics.
But what do I know — I am only a combat medic, a science teacher, a published textbook author, and a father of four who has spent his entire adult life trying to reduce human suffering, and who read the actual data instead of watching the June fundraising cycle.

Pick a side:
1. Pro-Western Civilization: freedom, faith, merit, sovereignty, and truth.
2. Pro-Marxism and its descendants; communism, Nazism, globalism, and every ideology that tries to erase individual liberty in the name of “progress”

Science is the search for truth, not blind faith in institutions, but Kuhn-like thinking: Build paradigms on evidence, spot anomalies, trigger crises, and shift to better models when facts demand it. But what if our truth-seeking tools are sabotaged?
Bret Weinstein warns: Our civilization's compass is broken. Universities peddle false "truths," regulators protect the system over people, and science hides data (e.g., mRNA vax & turbo cancers links buried in anecdotes).
This echoes Descartes' doubt: Without reliable paths to truth, ideology wins. We need Enlightenment revival, question everything, demand open data.
How do we rebuild? Reply with ideas!
What do you think is the biggest threat to science? A) Sabotaged institutions B) Ideology over evidence C) Lack of paradigm shifts D) All of the above
