All confirmed cases trace back to CryptoBilis, an authorized Ledger reseller in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. They’ve paused sales. How it worked A tiny module under the screen, with its own SIM, read your 24 words during setup and sent them to the attacker. The secure chip was untouched, so Ledger’s Genuine Check still passed. On-chain estimates: $86–93M lost, mostly USDT on Tron. Tether froze about $10M. Bought from a reseller in the last ~90 days? 🟢 Not set up yet? Don’t 🟢 Already using it?
