Amazing experience with my friends from @ETHBiodivX during the @xprize Rainforest finals. Unfortunately Tumbira and the region are experiencing another year of devastating droughts. 😔
Professor @DrFlorSanger & fellow researchers had a daunting mission this summer: to determine how many species live in a 38.6-square-mile section of the Amazon by remotely collecting environmental DNA, wildlife sounds, & images — all within 72 hours. ➡️ bit.ly/4e9kSyP
