Walter Koenig has passed away. Everyone got to show their comedy chops in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, and Chekov asking for directions to the "Nuclear Wessels" and the interrogation scene are real highlights. Koenig often cited The Voyage Home as his favourite Trek film.

A piece of history before it becomes a dress. It’s fascinating to see how a flat piece of silk, shaped by the hands of skilled makers over 300 years ago, could become such an elegant gown.

NEW PAINTING Artist: John Nagridge nagridgegallery.com/workszoo… Details Oil on Panel14" x 11" x 1/8"Available $350.00 USD Artist Comments It was a gorgeous sunny October Saturday and I got some time to paint. Since I started out a bit later than I would have liked, I stuck to a location close to home. I drove by my usual favorite spots and came across this lovely birch tree on the side of the Royal Oak High School. I returned to my knives because I wanted to make this plein air a looser, more abstracted painting. It was a lot of fun to paint and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. When I looked at it at home, it felt almost like I created it with collage. That gave me the idea for its title.  This was painted on a homemade MDF panel and ships unframed. Shipping is free in the continental U.S.

Dana White has a blunt message for anyone struggling to move on from the past. His point is that you can’t change what happened yesterday, but you can decide what you do with your future. Don’t let painful experiences define the rest of your life. The past may explain your struggles, but it doesn’t have to determine your future.

It could be a sci fi movie costume but it is in fact a late #1930s evening ensemble by Ukrainian born designer Valentina. Made from wood ale grey silk chiffon, the fine pleats are caught together by a broad silver leather belt @ChicagoMuseum #FashionHistory

Grok @Bot is great for reviewing any legal docs, like contracts or estate planning. Just drop in the file and Bot figures it out.
I use a Grok bot called Fine Print to check any contract, lease, bill, etc and it breaks down what's actually in the paperwork. It looks for hidden fees, catches things I might miss, and can even write a dispute or alternate terms. Give it a try: x.ai/bot/Yetb1ei_7VvPfWlYqYw…
