Because if they told the truth they would have to explain climate change is happening faster than expected and society will soon collapse, so then they would be forced to demand the end of capitalism in order to save our species from extinction. And their boss wouldn’t like that.

I have no patience for people who say they don't know enough about the Palestine situation to have an opinion in September 2024. It's like, okay, well, that's a character flaw and you should change it.
