To follow on from this little reminder of toolchanging history, and with our objective to change manufacturing forever, here is some more news from E3D. To the future 🥂

We dream big at E3D and we like to celebrate success. Today, however, is an anniversary that comes with some bittersweet memories for our team, for close friends & family, and also for the industry who watched our progress from the start. Four years ago today we very sadly lost our friend and co-founder, Sanjay Mortimer.
We felt it was fitting to share this story with you, in true Sanjay spirit❤️

Tell your boss the ‘bed’ is a hydraulic king size ottoman so she brings the right tools and excuses next time 🤣
Get yourself a boss who helps you build your new bed, love ya @Clare3D
I’m laughing at the content of the image in the tweet by Larry Cook. I see no blaspheming and I don’t care either way. Back to Bluesky for me!

It's funny because you think you're a "trust the science" member of the inteligencia but really you're just a true believer indoctrinated into a political religion. You're laughing at me for the blaspheming.
How did Sanjay die?

I've been playing with marking prints (DataMatrix) for traceability for quite some time and it turns out some inks embed into the first layer permanently while remaining easy to wipe down from the print-bed 💡 Who could use this? Or should we go RFID instead? 🤔
Popping back onto Twitter to send a general reminder that a ‘flooding the zone’ strategy will work if we don’t keep eyes wide open and keep talking. It’s not fun, and it’s easier to look away. Please don’t.
Friends, please check out the excellently titled DryAF Kickstarter from Greg. You may recognise Greg from past Kickstarter successes 😉 and we wish him luck with this ‘fabAF’ project.
