Tokenized US Treasuries grew 125% in a year, to $15.42B. And only 10.5% of that sits in the US.
The biggest holders are Italy, Portugal and Singapore. We dug into who’s buying, what they actually own (usually not the bond itself) and why most of them just hold 👇

#Pearl is up 75.7% over the past month, riding its AI plus Proof-of-Useful-Work pitch: GPUs secure the network and do AI training on the side. Heavy volume and loud influencer backing pushed it into price discovery, with a high of $2.10 five days ago before a pullback to $1.85. Whether the “useful work” claim holds up is still unproven, but buyers aren’t waiting around.
Pump.fun is down despite good news. Hot CPI and a risk-off tape hit high-beta names hardest, and Bitquery counted 6.85 million sandwich attacks on Solana over the past year, 96% of them on Pump.fun, costing traders $29.7 million. Record fees and a new Hyperliquid perps product didn’t help, since most of that upside flows to #HYPE. Traders cashed out.
Most crypto thefts don’t need a genius hacker. It's actually surprising how little is "enough".

⌛️Quick Market Update
#Bitcoin fell below $81,000 earlier today after a hotter-than-expected inflation report revived concerns that the Fed could hike rates as soon as this month. Ether, XRP, and Solana each dropped 3.5-4%. Pyth Network’s PYTH was the lone standout among the top 100 tokens, up over 7% at press time.
September #CPI came in at 3.7% annually, up from 3.4% the month before, with core accelerating to 2.6%. Rate hike odds briefly jumped to nearly 50% on Polymarket before easing to around 30%. STS Digital says the back-and-forth is “damaging liquidity and dampening risk appetite across all asset classes.”
Traditional markets took a hit too. Nasdaq futures fell 1%, extending Wednesday’s 2% decline, while South Korea’s KOSPI plunged 8% and triggered circuit breakers. US spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $150 million on Wednesday, reversing the previous day’s inflow. Crypto is trading more on macro than on its own news right now.

🤔Floating vs. fixed interest rates in crypto lending
In crypto lending, your rate either stays put or moves while your loan is open.
A fixed rate locks in your cost for a set term, so you know what you’ll pay from day one. The catch is that fixed rates often start higher, because the lender is covering the risk that market rates rise during the loan.
A floating rate changes over time, and what it follows depends on the platform. In DeFi, it usually tracks pool utilization: the more of the lending pool that’s borrowed, the higher the rate. When demand is low, that can be cheaper than fixed. When markets get choppy and utilization spikes, though, the rate can jump quickly, and borrowers who weren’t watching get caught out.
In CeFi, floating rates often follow something closer to home, like your LTV, so the rate moves as your own position does.
Which one fits depends on what you’re doing. Fixed tends to suit longer positions where a predictable cost matters more than shaving a few basis points. Floating suits short-term trades or calm markets, if you’re happy to keep an eye on the rate.
Clapp credit lines sit on the CeFi side. Your rate is tied to your LTV, not to a pool utilization rate that shifts with everyone else’s activity. Keep your LTV below 20% and you pay 0% APR. Above that, the rate steps up across five tiers. Your cost follows your own position, so you control it by managing your LTV rather than waiting on the crowd.
How do I read whale moves in crypto?
Size alone isn’t the story. A $100 million transfer barely registers for Bitcoin, but the same amount moving in a small-cap altcoin could be a big deal. What matters more is where the funds are going.
A few patterns show up often:
1⃣ Coins moving onto an exchange can mean someone is getting ready to sell, which may weigh on the price in the short term. It can also be collateral or margin, so it’s not a guarantee.
2⃣ Coins moving off an exchange to a private wallet is usually read as bullish, since supply is leaving the market.
3⃣ Stablecoins moving onto an exchange can point to buying power being lined up. Stablecoins moving off are harder to read, since they might be headed to DeFi or just being redeemed.
4⃣ Wallet-to-wallet transfers are often noise. If both addresses are unlabelled, it could be an OTC deal or internal rebalancing.
5⃣ Dormant wallets waking up after years can cause panic, but sometimes it’s just the owner migrating to a new wallet for security.
Context is everything.

📈#Starknet is rallying on a bold proposal from StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson: cut ties with Ethereum and rebuild Starknet as an independent Layer-1 with quantum resistance targeted for 2027. Whether that ships is anyone's guess, but traders aren't waiting to find out. A large share of the move is coming from leveraged perpetual futures rather than spot buying.
📉Sky Protocol, meanwhile, is sliding after Moody's handed it a B3 issuer rating — making it the only stablecoin protocol formally rated by the major agencies. The rating brought rare institutional visibility, but it also laid bare some real credit weaknesses. Traders took the mixed signal as a cue to lock in profits. Whales have been the dominant force behind $SKY's recent action.

Quick Meowrket Update 🐈⬛
$BTC broke below $83,000 earlier today, dipping to just over $82,600 after a report that the White House asked the Pentagon for strike options against Iran pushed Brent above $102.50 a barrel and Treasury yields back toward their highest since 2002.
Losses were broad across the majors. $XRP led with a 4.4% drop to $1.42, while DOGE and $SOL each shed roughly 3%. TRON was the only major in the green, up less than 1%. The move followed roughly $550 million in liquidations a day earlier, mostly long positions.
US stocks also pulled back from their records. Bitcoin's last two down days have coincided with rising oil and yields, so a drop in Brent back below $100 could take some pressure off.

Borrowers can't control the market; they can make sure they notice when it's time to act. 🎬
A timely LTV alert helps, but a genuinely reliable routine needs three other pieces too: a personal "act" level you've already decided on, a reserve ready to deploy, and a clear sense of your two options when the moment comes. All of that takes about five minutes to set up.
This guide walks through the steps in order, so you can get ahead of a price drop before it happens, not scramble once it does.👇

What happens if you can't repay your crypto loan? 🧐
💡If you can't repay, the lender sells part or all of your collateral to cover the debt. Crypto loans are overcollateralized, so you've already deposited more than you borrowed, and the loan stays fully secured.
When repayment fails, or your LTV breaches a set threshold, the platform liquidates enough collateral at market price to bring your position back to safe, then covers your balance and any accrued interest from the proceeds.
Most crypto-backed loans are non-recourse — you lose the collateral sold, but don't owe extra cash out of pocket. They also rarely involve credit checks, so default usually isn't reported to credit bureaus.
What you do give up is future upside on the assets sold, and forced liquidation can trigger a taxable capital gains event, same as selling it yourself. Some platforms add a liquidation penalty fee too, taken from what's left of your collateral.
Clapp gives you more room to work with. With a Clapp credit line, you can reshuffle your collateral anytime — add, remove, or swap assets even after you've drawn funds. If your LTV starts climbing, top up with stablecoins or swap in a steadier asset to pull it back to safety. Liquidation isn't the only way this plays out, just the one you didn't prepare for.

Bitcoin has evolved from a niche experiment into a $1.7 trillion market, sitting on the same institutional balance sheets and trading desks as conventional assets. But its valuation model is still dramatically different from TradFi.
No single metric can consistently explain its moves, since the price reacts to changes in demand, liquidity, and positioning across time horizons ranging from minutes to years.👇

📈Midnight is rallying on the mainnet launch of permissionless smart-contract deployment, letting builders deploy directly and apps deploy on users' behalf. Net CEX outflows are thinning sell-side liquidity, adding to bullish momentum across privacy tokens. It also builds on anticipation of v8, which enables private contracts and tokens. A solid recovery: NIGHT bottomed at $0.015 after July's $13M hack.
📉Lighter got blindsided by Robinhood, which will route US perp futures through Bitstamp and its derivatives arm, pulling away volume and revenue. The drop was violent: positioning was stretched, with funding rates above 83% annualized, meaning longs were living on borrowed time. Forced closures followed. More pain looms, with team and investor unlocks starting late December outpacing buyback-and-burn capacity.
Quick Market Update 🧐
Bitcoin popped above $85,500 earlier Wednesday after a softer-than-expected PCE report, but the gains didn't stick. Price settled back to around $84K as Treasury yields refused to budge from their highest levels in over two decades.
August's PCE showed inflation cooling more than expected — prices up 3.4% year-over-year, 3.0% excluding food and energy. That pushed odds of an October Fed hike lower, with December now looking like the more likely window for any move. Crypto took it as a relief signal, briefly.
Late Wall Street swings erased the pop. The 10-year yield hovered near 5.28%, close to Wednesday's peak, while the 30-year steadied at 5.62% after touching its highest since 2002. HYPE led the top-15 gainers, up over 4%, with DOGE adding nearly 2% and XMR up 1.5%. The rest barely moved.
