I love that my Alpha reader basically told me that I get to make this book even longer. It was around 132,000 words and is now about 138,000 words with a few more scenes to add. It will easily cross 140,000 before I finish this draft.

I actually have a main character in my Primogenitor Series with a thing for "oldies" music--oldies as in apocalyptic themed music from 2050-2080 or so in my timeline. I play things like "Radioactive" while writing a lot of her scenes.

The moon rose full and heavy. Shapes resolved from shadow until magnolia blossom, flesh, and scale could be seen clearly. The naga stood revealed, bathed in the sea of moonlight like a figure head on a ghost ship. #Cleverquickies
