My Gameweek3 HYPOTHESIS and Personal View About The Game. HYPOTHESIS: Wildcard in GW3 means you will need to wait till GW7 to judge if you are on the right path. Q: Why five(5) Gameweek? A: That's hypothetical the best or optimal Gameweek to check on all the players you brought in to confirm that they did return some points from Goals, Assists or DEFCON. Q: Where do we expect the returns to come from in our FPL Teams? A: So hypothetical, you are looking for at least one(1) return from non Talismanic players and two(2) returns from Talismanic players in five(5) Gameweeks. So Elite FPL Managers do get in players with a higher potential or ceiling to return more in a short while like 5GWs. Q: What structure or formation is optimal and ideal? A: Most of the Wildcard teams I have seen here on Twitter.... They have about three(3) Talismanic players. The popular ones are: - Erling Haaland MCI - Cole Palmer CHE - Yoane Wissa NEW. The optimal formation from this season data although it is a small sample size of two(2) Gameweeks... It is still "4-5-1" formation. Q: Whats the total expected return in 5GWs by Gameweek 7? A: The total Expected Returns (xR) in 5GWs are: Eight(8) non Talismanic players; 8 × 1 = 8 returns. Three(3) Talismanic players; 3 × 2 = 6 returns. So total; 8 + 6 = 14 returns... 14r/5GWs. That's 2.8r/GW. Q: How do we maximize the potential to earn higher returns in a short while or 5GWs? A: That's a tough question here... We have analytical processes and procedures to select "higher performance players with more routes to points" like "xG/90" or "xA/90" or "(nPxG + xAG)/90" as we can't accurately predict penalty goals or calls. So Elite FPL managers do then to select players with high xGi/90 in all positions to increase the chances to earn higher than fourteen(14) returns in 5GWs. Q: Can we truly not predict penalty goals in a Football game in the EPL? A: No that's impossible... And we can all accept that gridlock. Even with my 3+ years of studying penalty calls and games that had multiple penalty calls... it is still hard. But I crafted an Algorithm that aides me selected players that have a cluster of "high penalty call games" in the next 5 to 8 gameweeks. So that they are open to my Wildcard selection. But with the help of Solvers, Optimizers and AI models... Many FPL managers have gotten an edge to predict to great distinction which players to own from GW3 to GW7... And as such, the players have high ceiling, high performance potential to earn higher points. So such FPL managers have an assisted edge to stay ahead.
