Here's what you need to know about absentee, early and election day voting.
For Meriden voters, early voting takes place in City Hall.
This week, all @MeridenK12 schools are celebrating CT Grown For CT Kids Week, which essentially means a variety of healthy food, grown or produced by local farms, is being served up in our school cafeterias!
And this includes Meriden‘s High Hill Orchard!
While @MeridenK12 schools will be CLOSED Monday, in observance of the Columbus Day holiday, ALL City of Meriden offices will be OPEN Monday!
Celebrate the 175th Anniv. of @MeridenFire at the @MeridenSociety on Sundays throughout Oct.
Engine 3, on Broad St., the oldest continuously operating station in CT, is one of the oldest in NE.
It's also the first FD in CT to replace horse-drawn apparatus w/motorized pumpers.
Attached is the city's milling and paving schedule for next week.
Of course, the works is performed on a weather permitting basis.

The City of Meriden is hosting a rescheduled, FREE hazardous waste disposal day, at the Meriden Transfer Station, on Sat., Oct. 31. Even if you registered for the previously scheduled event (PPD Sat. 9.26), you must RE-REGISTER for October 31 FREE day.
