I understand there has been some confusion so I created this helpful #venn diagram. #yourewelcome

Park Avenue used to have a park in the median of it, hence it's name. It's time to bring that back.

Reminder that MNDoT is giving Rochester $65M of the $93M for an interchange at this section of Hwy 14 that sees 2k vehicles crossing at 60th per day while the metro governments squabble for $93M for transit, roads, and bridges and face a $40M cut to transit funding.
gov tim walz wants to cut transit funding in minnesota for his supplemental budget. this is such an irresponsible move with the oil issues happening now. we need to be investing more in transit not LESS!

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
ChatGPT run by a 3rd grader could have come up with something more meaningful.
They had him pinned down and then they murdered him.

They tried to cover it up immediately and the Minneapolis police chief refused. Witnesses have been taken to police headquarters and all available off duty police have been called to work. ICE cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Congress must act now. The Courts must stop the stupid foot dragging. Enough is enough.
Now get the murder.
Minutes ago at my direction, @HSI_HQ and @FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota.
So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We will share more updates as they become available.
Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP.
This is really a shameful reflection on the words of Christ. Thank you to all those defending our peaceful immigrant and dark skinned neighbors. Many of our neighbors continue to be targeted by ICE's racial profiling and violence.
As a resident of Minnesota and as bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, my heart is breaking over the situation in my home state. Violence, retribution, threats, protests, deep suspicion of one another, political unrest, fear—all of it swirling around all the time. May I make a modest proposal for exiting this unbearable state of affairs? The Trump Administration and ICE should limit themselves, at least for the time being, to rounding up undocumented people who have committed serious crimes. Political leaders should stop stirring up resentment against officers who are endeavoring to enforce the laws of the country. And protestors should cease interfering with the work of ICE. And everyone on all sides must stop shouting at one another and demonizing their opponents. Where we are now is untenable. There is a way out.

19% of people aged 20-24 don’t have a driver’s license.
30-40% of people over 85 don’t have a driver’s license.
Planning and designing places that force everyone to be dependent on cars is cruel.

Not a matter of luck.
But a matter of policy.
🚗 Slower streets
🚲 Protected bike lanes
❎ Safer crossings

The easier it is to hop on a network of bike lanes, the more people ride bikes. Straightforward stuff.
Build more bike lanes!

Make it easy to ride bikes around town and people will ride bikes around town.
