Is this the “peaceful Democratic political event” being discussed in the Thomas Crooks FBI files? Did Thomas have a connection to this Pittsburgh DSA event and / or meetings?

Chuck Grassley received a 600 page collection consisting of FBI investigative records on Butler, PA and Thomas Crooks. It includes interviews with Crooks’ relatives, neighbors, teachers and classmates, as well as law enforcement reports and other investigative material. An NBC article covered a few for details. When will the records be made available to the public @ChuckGrassley? Some new Thomas Crooks details I learned from the article: -He was described by a Keystone Shooting Center employee as “an odd duck.” The same employee said he was “not someone they would want their daughter to spend time with.” -He was described as a “history buff and could name all the U.S. presidents. He enjoyed discussing the New Deal. -Investigators wrote: “What makes Thomas ‘tic’ was his enjoyment in being ‘the smartest person in the room.’” -He “would ‘shut down’” around large groups of people or authority figures. -He was interested in 3D printers and made small boats and “dragon eggs.” The public has the right to know and review the documents.
