✨ Runes & Charms Crafting System Improvement
With careful consideration of player feedback and analysis of game data, the Origins team is working towards improving the Rune & Charm System. If everything goes well, these changes are aimed to be made available in Season 8.
There is a continued effort to listen and understand concerns to better serve the community. Please look forward to a separate announcement detailing these changes once finalized.
🪜Preseason Collectible Leaderboard
The Collectible Leaderboard is back with a new and improved scoring system! Players shared their excitement over the first iteration which allowed Collectible Axie owners to compete for an exclusive pool of rewards all while playing and raising their favourite Collectible Axies.
Timeline: March 20th - April 3rd
Total Prize Pool: 4000 AXS
The following changes have been implemented 👇
Rank Based Points adjusted:
Boar : 1 → 1 (No Change)
Wolf : 2 → 2 (No Change)
Bear : 3 → 4
Tiger : 5 → 8
Dragon : 7 → 16
Challenger : 10 → 32
Collection Based Bonus Points adjusted from Additive to Multiplicative.
Mystic : +4 → x3.0
Origin : +2 → x1.5
MEO/JP/Xmas/Shiny : +1 → x0.75
Example: a Challenger Ranked player has 1 Mystic, 1 Origin, and 1 Xmas Axie in their team:
Challenger Rank = 32 Points
Collection Bonus = 1 + 3 + 1.5 + 0.75 = 6.25Base = 1 Mystic = 3 Origin = 1.5 Xmas = 0.75
Final Points = 32 x 6.25 = 200
Based on data from the first round of the Collectible Leaderboard, we've made promising adjustments. We aim for these changes to keep players motivated and ensure they feel rewarded for their efforts in the competition.
Disclaimer: These details are a work in progress and may undergo further changes based on player feedback and internal testing.
