The STORY itself has reportedly evolved. 🎬 • The project was originally announced as Battle of Galwan, inspired by the 2020 India-China Galwan clash. • #SalmanKhan was to portray Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu. • As India-China relations evolved, concerns reportedly emerged around how the neighbouring country and conflict were being portrayed. • Portions of the film were subsequently rewritten and reshot. • The film eventually became Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace — itself signalling a change in tone. And now comes the BIGGEST new detail: 🔥 The CLIMAX has reportedly been reworked. 🔥 Salman's CHARACTER ARC has reportedly undergone changes too. 🔥 The ending is now said to align more strongly with the film's message of PEACE rather than simply conflict.
