Honoured today to visit the offices in Palermo of the legendary anti-mafia prosecutors Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, both of whom were murdered within weeks of each other by the mafia 30 years ago this year. Their offices are preserved as they were when they died

🔵Da mesi denunciamo l’emergenza dei pini di Roma, condannati a sparire. Con 2-3 anni di ritardo sono arrivati decreto @Mipaaf_ e piano @RegioneLazio. Ora @Roma partite a razzo con l’endoterapia e stanziate più soldi perché 1,25 milioni bastano solo per iniziare.
I pini sono il simbolo di Roma e rischiano di sparire. Da 2 anni c'è un parassita che li minaccia e nessuno fa niente. Con @Azione_it siamo a fianco delle associazioni per chiedere a @Mipaaf_ @RegioneLazio @Roma di stanziare risorse e agire subito per evitare una seconda Xylella.

A well-preserved 45-metre stretch of the Appian Way under the McDonald's in Marino, southeast of Rome.
The road was discovered in 2014 during the construction of the building. McDonald’s decided to sponsor the dig & worked with the archaeological authorities to preserve the road.
