It’s all due to producers squeezing the rental time of theatres. At the end of the day, it’s the product and audiences that suffer. Cheapening your hire costs shouldn’t cheapen the quality of the art.

at this point I am considering putting on my own 1 x man version of Sunday in The Park With George - £500 top price tickets - outside The Greggs on the Strand 🎨
“BACK” under the spotlight? 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Brydon Carse nightclub incident puts England culture back under spotlight | The Cricketer thecricketer.com/Topics/engl…
I don’t know how members of a cricket club can call themselves “well educated” when they celebrate at every bump-ball catch and don’t seem to know the rules of the game. Utterly deluded 😂😂
Off to Vienna in September.
Want to watch some opera/concerts. If anyone has any contacts for cheaper tickets, please Imk! Would really appreciate it 😘😘
Musician friends - please share this far and wide. We’re selling Ryan’s trombone gigbag to a good home! Would be great for a student or bander who is on the road! 🎼🎶

The competition has its flaws, but when the sun is shining and the ground, @EmiratesOT, hosts it so well, it’s hard not to love @thehundred and the buzz it creates. @ECB_cricket @lancscricket 🔥🏏❤️
A beautiful day in beautiful company at @GarsingtonOpera. Thank you @hugh_canning and Happy Birthday ❤️🎶

Der Rosenkavalier @GarsingtonOpera - I’ve bought a pair of tix & am taking along three mates: lovely #RobertaDoyle, Operalogue editor, #AndrewClark & the one-and-only @ChuckWork_ 🌹 🐎🌹
Quite right.
Following feedback from Members and supporters, Lancashire Cricket has updated its broadcast offering for Men’s First Team fixtures.
A premium, multi-camera live production will be available on LancsTV+, alongside free fixed-camera coverage on YouTube.

I’m not just jumping on the bandwagon here, but the @cricketontnt coverage of The Ashes (and every cricketing event they’ve aired) has been utterly embarrassing. Abysmal broadcasting effort. Makes us realise how lucky we are to have @SkyCricket and their impeccable team.

I know it’s only January 5th but Alan Carr falling out of a rubber ring on a water slide is TV moment of the year

Off to Leeds for the ‘sort-of opera’ Pass the Spoon which opens tonight at the Howard Assembly Room. The work of artist/librettist @DavidShrigley, composer David Fennessy & Nicholas Bone, it’s ‘a daytime cookery show that’s gone fully, gloriously rogue’. Reviewing for @TheStage.
Not trying to be negative, but should we be worried about England’s Test batter’s poor form with the bat in this NZ white ball series?
Tonight, we welcomed back Phyllida Lloyd and Anthony Ward to their 1993 production of La bohème at @Opera_North. What a magical night.
