Bird won 3 MVPs in a row averaging 26-10-7 on 50-39-89 shooting splits with 2 championships 2 finals MVPs and 3 finals appearances It is unquestionably a better peak than Kobe had
Larry Bird doesn’t have a better peak he doesn’t have better longevity and he doesn’t have more impact on winning that Kobe or Steph

Bird finished top 4 in MVP voting in all of his first 9 seasons. Kobe finished top 4 in MVP voting 8 times total The peak thing is definitely Bird. Kobe's argument is all longevity

My favorite game that year was the one where Shane Battier blocked Tyreke Evans 7 times, held him to 4-22 shooting - the Kings shot 32% from the field and they still won basketball-reference.com/box…
Tyreke Evans – Rookie Scoring tape 20 year old rookie absolutely torching the league, strong frame with an impressive downhill game

There are 3 acceptable answers, game 7 might make it 2
Dennis Rodman, Charles Barkley, and Ben Wallace aren’t available. Your team needs ONE rebound to finish off Game 7. Any player in NBA history, everyone in their prime. Who are you putting under the basket?

anecdotally, i tore my achilles while wearing shoes that were too restrictive and the heel trailed my foot. they were pretty much brand new and had no slide on the floor. i am fairly positive those shoes were a large contributing factor but not *the reason it happened

i say this because i think with this achilles tear situation in the NBA there is probably multiple variables at play, people are trying to find a specific cause but it is hardly ever that simple. look at wear & tear first, of course ... but it seems like there must be more to it

People like Jesse Waters are exactly what all of us know is the worst kind of person Republicans when taken out of their political poisonous soup would recognize the evil of that guy instantly It is mind boggling that politics has so much power over people's ability to reason
Abdul is making a lot of sense!

There is no way even Jesse Waters in private likes the person he is on camera. a transparently despicable and intentionally obtuse human being. That is his job description, he knows that.

Kobe expressed frustration and disliked the triangle early in his career. That was never a thing after Phil Jackson came back. Kobe so bought into the triangle that he taught it to his daughter's team after he retired.
Keep in mind Kobe hated playing in the triangle most of his career. He wanted to play at a faster pace…. Dude would average 38 in today’s NBA and that might be too low.

He definitely needs to be fired. This is so inappropriate and kind of just reckless
This guy might get fired lol

This isn't only a stupid tweet, it is also an adorable one
"Shaq made it easier for Kobe" Shaq has only 182 career assists to Kobe. Kobe has 1,405+ career assists to Shaq. Who made it easier for who again???

Holy shit. That's 3 achilles tears before the season even starts Fact check me here but I am pretty sure 2024-2025 is the only season in league history with more than 4 achilles tears
Just in: Sacramento Kings guard Ben Simmons is believed to have sustained a torn Achilles tendon at practice Sunday, sources tell ESPN. A suspected season-ending injury for Simmons after rejuvenated and impressive training camp and preseason performances.

This says so much
Jaylen Brown says he bought a gold harp, and now has someone come over twice a week to play it as the sun goes down while his chef cooks dinner “My favorite purchase, I think my best, my most favorite purchase was, I bought a harp. I bought like a gold harp. I got it upstairs too…” “I got a harpist that come play like twice a week. While the sun is going down, chef is in the kitchen. You know what I mean? Just…”

Jaylen Brown trying to be Apollo so bad, either as a troll or genuinely. Both are incredibly weird

I don't think Matt Ishbia is prepared for the Suns to have like anything go wrong. They are a scrappy try hard NBA team, and thise are usually good! But talent wise that is not a playoff team and the possibility that shows this year is real

Donald Trump was a democrat for most of his life, maybe all of this was a cruel poisoning of the republican party by a soulless double agent
Trump: If Democrats win, “You’re going to be thrown into a system where everyone gets healthcare.”
