I’ll start with the obvious… caves.
Dear Atheists
Please explain how the “meteor” hit all the dinosaurs but missed all the cavemen?
I will wait…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The asteroid impact linked to non-avian dinosaur extinction occurred ~66 million years ago. No humans or cavemen existed then; Homo sapiens appeared ~300,000 years ago.

“Russian guy from Russia does Russian things in Russia, oh noooo” meanwhile these people support terrorists taking office in our country.
russian “innocent” athlete 🤡
Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin appeared in a campaign video for putin’s “United russia” political party.
In the video he can be seen with russian military personnel, people under international sanctions, and others who are directly responsible for the war in Ukraine.
By supporting this political party, Ovechkin strengthens putin and thereby supports killings and increases the scale of the tragedy in Ukraine.
This is yet another example of how russia uses athletes for its propaganda. How, in the face of such open evidence, can international sports organizations continue to claim that “sport is out of politics”?
russian sport must be isolated from international sport.
International sport must not be used to advertise war and murder.
“I’m Swedish and I live the most mediocre life on some of the most mediocre land on earth, we invest minimal effort and get by, because mediocre”
Hi. 😊 Swedish dude here.
When our children get sick, we have 60 paid days per year to stay home with them.
Per parent.
They're separate from my 25 paid vacation days.
Meaning I don't have to use my own paid sick leave.
If I'm a single parent: 120 days.
If my child has a chronic illness: 120 days
If my child is hospitalized: unlimited days.
These days reset every January.
By law. every year until child is 18.

In other words… the countries have seeds of development but these retards would rather just come take our shit that’s already set up. That’s fucking stupid.
I've been searching for the right term to describe the phenomenon I see across the developing world but haven't found it yet...
We point to the skyscrapers and luxury malls of the various capital cities as proof of progress in Africa, forgetting that these places are where banks, government institutions, foreign capital, international aid agencies, NGOs, and the wealthiest citizens, are concentrated all in just one small area.
The real test is what happens when you leave that small bubble.
In Japan or much of Western Europe, for example, development and modernity doesn't vanish 10 kilometers out of the capital city. The roads, water, schools, and hospitals continue almost across the country. In much of Africa, on the other hand, the infrastructure drop off is DRASTIC. One minute you're in Acacia Mall and the next minute you're back in the stone age after just a 5 minute drive away from the city centre.
That's why gleaming snapshots such as this photo are so misleading.
A country isn't developed because modernity exists in some small pocket of affluence and wealth in ita capital city. Development is about how widely that modernity is distributed. Africa fails in that regard.
Plants have flowered in Antarctica every year for millions of years. 2 specific species have done so every year since before records existed.
One singular death to a person while sleeping will kill this whole thing.
Robotaxis won’t just kill short haul flights. Once you can sleep in them, they’ll cannibalize long routes too.
Imagine getting into your Tesla in Austin at 10 PM, make the lie flat seat/bed comfortable, and going to sleep.
While you sleep, the car drives, charges itself, and keeps going.
You wake up at 9 AM in Aspen, refreshed.
The key is perceived travel time.
A 10-hour robotaxi trip where you sleep for 8 hours may feel shorter than a 3-hour flight that requires an Uber to the airport, arriving early, security, boarding, the flight, baggage claim, and another Uber.
Autonomous cars won’t just compete with driving.
They turn sleep into transportation.
During the events of 9/11, I was in high school. When flight 93 was one of the last planes in the air, there was a point where it was headed right for Pittsburgh, and my school. So there was an evacuation of all of the students to the bleachers of the football field out back of the school. While we’re sitting outside waiting for whatever was going to happen, flight 93 flew overhead and toward the city. I can’t tell you the panic that went through my head, because I knew my mom was in one of those buildings in downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a moment I will never forget, now knowing that patriots were fighting for control of the plane as it flew overhead.
