🎃Bring the horror home! This Michael Myers figurine - AKA "The Shape" - is not a toy! 🎞️It's a piece of cinematic history, a shape of terror that defined horror cinema for nearly five decades. Happy Halloween! 🎃 pulpart.co.uk/new-pulp/f/the… #michaelmyers #PulpArt #Halloween

OCTOBER TBR?🎃 🍂 Unlucky for some (not for me) Of the Past has 13 ratings on Goodreads. I’d love to make it to 20 by Dec 2026. 🍁 A gorgeous, poetic tale 🍁 Brotherly love & realistic issues 🍁 Poignant and relatable GR goodreads.com/book/show/2470… Zon- amzn.eu/d/0jbI0EhQ

Felt like a productive day. Stained half the shed and wrote 2,000 words. Hopefully, I can finish the shed tomorrow and keep the writing momentum going.

It’s PM-official: what started as a 3-book deal just expanded into an 8-book contract. Doesn’t quite feel real until that Publishers Marketplace announcement drops—but here we are. For clarity: the original 3-book deal included 📚The Serpent’s Bridge (published) 📚The Serpent Woman (published) 📚Twilight of the Serpent (out this May) I’m currently drafting Book 4: The Serpent’s Order. And here’s the part people rarely say out loud: 👉🏽 I had an agent for 5 years. Walked away with ZERO book deals. 👉🏽 Landed this on my own through a small press. As a BIPOC author, the climb often feels steeper. This publishing road came with hard lessons—from #amquerying struggles to landing an agent, and learning the hard truth: nothing is guaranteed. But I found two crucial lessons in all of it. Two Biggest Lessons I’ve Learned in Publishing (What Every Debut Author Should Know) 1.) Just because you have an agent doesn’t guarantee a book deal. 2.) And just because you don’t have one doesn’t mean you can’t get published. This publishing journey’s been anything but easy. But I’m still here. Still writing. Still building this world—book by book. Grateful. Humbled. On fire for what’s ahead. #WritingCommunity #BookDeal #AmWriting #BIPOCauthors #ThrillerSeries #SmallPress #AuthorsCommunity

Blue green forest whimsy background with beige text box stating: Blurb When an orb bearing her mother’s voice appears at her window, Nina follows it through a portal into Evallantis. A realm of found family, mythical animal companions, and friends from other realms. While she learns to harness her powers, she is faced with prejudice, for her heritage is linked with underworld magic. When her best friend disappears while someone is trying to free the shadow wielder that her mother died putting into exile, all clues point to Nina. To clear her name, find her friend and stop the monster, Nina may have to embrace the very magic everyone fears without tipping over to the dark side.

Little Beliton is a remote Dartmoor village (mythical, but in my head represents real beauty spots pushed together). A friendly community who support each other with life problems. I hope readers enjoy the stories as they get to know the characters and feel part of the community.

The river at the bottom of my land. Charles Darwin walked along it in 1836, 184 years ago. He noted, in "Voyage of the Beagle", that the locals up here were drunken, idle and rude. As a local, I'm happy to confirm that nothing much has changed. (Belch.)
