This month @SpaceX joined the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce at the Champion's Circle level, the highest membership tier. It comes as SpaceX gets ready to build Starbase Louisiana.
The Chamber is a membership group of local businesses that work together to help Vermilion Parish grow. They connect business owners, promote local shops and events, and push for jobs and workforce development here at home.
In the Chamber's own words, SpaceX's investment supports "the work we do to strengthen our business community, create connections, and help Vermilion Parish continue to grow."
Joining at the top tier is a good sign that SpaceX wants to be part of this community, not just build in it. 🚀
