The west village article brings up something that Iā€™ve seen happening in both NY and LA, these people are here in these cities on a pit stop for content before they move back to their hometown to start families. They contribute nothing and donā€™t plan on being in the community.

the problem with black girl representation is that there will be a biracial girl who is half black, and sheā€™s the only one, and then sheā€™s labeled ā€œthe black girlā€ even though she isnt representative of what most black girls look like or identify with.

The Black Church makes to much money off the people to not work as financial institution for the people. Granny tithed 10% of her income every Sunday for 50 years but died dependent on Social Security. Now her family has to pay to have the funeral at the church she paid off.
