Of greater policy significance is the expectation that financially challenged public services pay ‘market rates’ rent for NHS health centres and hospital premises owned by private companies, PFI and LIFT schemes across England. The NHS should not be treated as a business in the marketplace. The NHS should own its new and refurbished hospital facilities and community health centres paid for from public funding and delivering best value for public money.

'This story makes me incandescent with rage. The obscenity of us having to pay money for land that they stole many years ago...'

The net worth of the British royal family is estimated at £22billion, according to Forbes.
King Charles’ own wealth of over £2billion is independent of this.
The Crown Estate is valued at about £16billion.
Why don’t we give this cash to the NHS instead?
Put that on a bus!

Absolutely huge. Are you watching @UKLabour and @SteveReedMP?
You cannot ignore this and need to massively up your game.
Huge congratulations to @RiverActionUK and everybody who took part 👊🪧
Tens of thousands of people came from rivers & seas across the country to march through London in the biggest water demonstration in UK history. It was so large that people were still leaving the Albert Embankment as the procession entered Parliament Square.
All those marching on the @MarchforWater had a simple message: we need real action for clean water & we need it now.

While the rest of us will be hit with an immediate 40% charge for IHT on our house, pension etc above £325k, Dyson will only have to pay 20% over 10 years on his £550M of farmland clearly bought for tax avoidance purposes.
But he’s still bleating.
Greedy.
Never buy a Dyson.

Out of touch Tory multimillionaire, Jeremy Hunt, says the Liz Truss budget is "ancient history".
It's not ancient history for people impoverished by their mortgage payments trebling in price because of it.

Stupid, entitled pillock.

The taxpayer funded billionaire royal family is costing too much and giving way too little. Their media friends and royalists live big lives by lying and bullying for them. The RF is a heavy burden on the🇬🇧 indifferent to real life struggles. They are takers. #AbolishTheMonarchy

Guys Rishi Sunak may have paid for his own suits but he sure as shit didn’t pay… for his helicopter, swimming pool, gave his wife’s company a few £100m, gave his mates a few £B through covid contracts (he was chancellor), wrote of those £Bs, sent £700m to Rwanda upfront (like a dick). Do you want me to go on?

Susanna Reid, "You obviously didn't tune into the program where Adil Ray took him to task"
Carol Vorderman, "I love Adil Ray"
Ed Balls, "It's not bad to hear what people say"
Carol Vorderman, "No, but I wish you had people like Tracy Brabin (Mayor of West Yorkshire) on.. I want to close the disconnect in some ways"
Hi @edballs it's always good to hear from people, but not those who crashed the economy, put thousands into poverty, shot up mortgages for millions and laughed during the Queen's funeral. Who you put on affects the narrative, there's no shortage of decent people. How about some Green or LibDem MPs instead of recycling Kwarteng 🤷♂️

He was head of fire safety when Grenfell burned, and he thinks he is too important to be bothered by an inquiry.
