It's been a busy few months including visiting @stjpenarth at the end of Feb. Fabulous being with Yr 5 and 6 teaching how stained glass is made! #stainedglass @BSMGP @WorshipGlaziers @ArtSwansea

#STJYear6 took part in a Stained-Glass Window Workshop with @ChristianPRyan. We explored the stages of making a window and the techniques involved from the cartoon to the cutting, painting and fixing with lead. We even got to cut the glass! Diolch yn fawr Mr Ryan ⭐️🌟

Wishing a happy Easter to everyone! Here’s one from the archive. It’s a mural I designed for @ArchbishMcGrath in 2011 when the school was built. It’s a 6m x 3m digitally printed mural I designed, titled ‘Christ at the Centre’,@art_xianity @CatholicCardiff

Each day at dusk, as the last of the light fades from the London sky, Soane’s use of toplighting creates a quietly dramatic effect: highlighting details, recesses and hidden levels, giving his collection a depth and presence that, even in near-darkness, remains magical! 🌙✨
A view of the Dome area of the Museum in the last of the day light. Much of the Colonnade beyond is in darkness, but the toplighting from the skylights above highlights the bust of Soane, the Drawing Office above, and architectural casts high on the walls to either side.
