There’s many examples of what made the Lennon-McCartney partnership the best of all time. These stories of Hey Jude though show something that’s not spoken about as often. Macca needed to prove the Beatles were the best, Lennon just believed they were. Put that together and they were unstoppable.

There is no first class on flights to Madeira so perhaps the story falls at the first hurdle …
Keir Starmer flew to Madeira first class on British Airways. He demanded to be allowed to board after everyone else had and that the curtains to the economy cabin were closed. He was booed by some passengers once his presence was known according to a flight crew member
