Today, I'm honoring the 7 Army Reserve Soldiers of the 103rd ESC who gave their lives in service overseas. As part of a sister unit attached under the 103rd, this loss is deeply felt. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with their families, loved ones, and fellow Soldiers.

Are wages higher in North Korea, Cuba, China, or Vietnam? If capitalism keeps wages low, why do workers in wealthy capitalist economies generally earn so much more? And why did wages rise so dramatically in China and Vietnam as they moved away from communist economic policies and embraced markets? Perhaps producing wealth has something to do with earning it.
