We are thrilled to announce the appointment by @BishManchester of the Revd Tom Phipps as Rector of @ChristChurchWD and @StChrisM20 😀. Date of licensing TBC. Please pray for Tom and his family, and for our church, at this time of transition 🙏.
We are celebrating Harvest tomorrow! We will be supporting the work of @BoothCentre, so please bring donations of non-perishable food (boothcentre.org.uk/donate-it…).
There is NO service at Christ Church tomorrow. Instead there will be a joint service at @StChrisM20 at 11am to celebrate their patronal festival, followed by refreshments ☕🍰.

We pray for the parish of Christ Church and St Christopher as they enter their second month of vacancy and for their beloved rector, Anne Pilkington, who has retired.

Thanks to everyone who came along to my final Eucharist yesterday @ChristChurchWD and @StChristopherWithington. It was lovely to be joined by friends from other parishes, neighbours and Hall users. A little card from one of our young folk pretty much sums up my ministry!

There were three beautiful dogs @ChristChurchWD yesterday. Alfie the parish dog was retiring after long and faithful service.
