I’m back from Everest Base Camp (5,364m / ~18,000ft) after an absolutely epic 130km trek through the towering mountains of Nepal. We conquered the Khumbu Valley, and got to sit in the shadow of the world's most colossal peak. What a trip. Here are some of my favourite photos from the experience. Namaste

OneBC is standing against the forces of managed decline. British Columbians should be able to dream of prosperity, not simply changing the speed that industry is fleeing the province, or how fast our property rights degrade or how quickly our history is erased. OneBC's agenda is a rising road for British Columbia at a time when other parties are debating little more than who gets to occupy the government offices. Join us: 1bc.ca/

The smell of a pine forest immediately after a heavy rain has to be one of the greatest scents on the planet.

Six hours of driving to a hidden alpine lake tucked away deep in the mountains, only accessible by 4x4. Some places are worth every kilometre. #BC #Canada

Good morning. In a world full of anger and envy, be inspired and ambitious instead. And have a great day.

I just delivered my second fully AI-generated film to a paying client, with a third happening later this week. A year ago, I would’ve said that sentence was ridiculous. And yet, here we are. Over the past few months, I’ve gone deep into the AI video space – not casually experimenting, but studying, learning, and actively producing real client work. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a new creative and commercial capability. Being at the forefront of this shift is equal parts exhilarating and unsettling. Here are some of my biggest takeaways so far: amberpacificstudios.com/film…

Last year, we worked with SAR Ladysmith to recreate a high-stakes rescue scenario on the water. Using actors and controlled conditions, we helped tell the story of what these volunteers face when real lives are on the line. This project was all about awareness — and respect — for the men and women who answer the call, day or night, without hesitation. 🚤 #SearchAndRescue #Lifesaving #AmberPacificStudios #Filmmaking #SARLadysmith
