Your annual NC Thanksgiving facts! NC is the 2nd largest producer of Turkeys in the US. In 2016, 33.5 million were produced here, w/ 41% coming from Dublin & Sampson counties. Also, about 50% of all the sweet potatoes grown in the US come from NC. So America, you're welcome.
