1. More reporters should consider covering rural areas and more newsrooms should see the value in rural beats. Would benefit journalism + the public.
2. Feels weird that “reporters” can refer to both people who cover small city council meetings and people who have talent agents.
“Experts on extremism are concerned that pardons will essentially endorse the violence of that day, which injured approximately 140 police officers and interrupted the country’s peaceful transfer of power.”

“We will engage in a peaceful transfer of power," Vice President Harris says in Washington. “While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fuels this campaign.”
Four years later, former President (and now) Pres.-elect Trump has yet to concede his 2020 defeat.
Harris in her concession speech vows a "peaceful transfer of power," a reminder we didn't have one last time.

If you were wondering, Connecticut Public has roasted sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, various salads, crispy Brussels sprouts, cookies, and, yes, pizza.
.@acluct is urging @CTSotS to ensure all early voting ballots cast in the town of North Stonington are counted, following voters being given faulty information by poll workers there.
“…more than 200 votes [not being counted] is unacceptable.”
