I Built a business.
Lost it.
Went into debt trying to save it.
Spent years at a bank helping families untangle their finances.
Then COVID hit and I got laid off.
Now I’m building a Catholic approach to financial freedom I wish I had years ago.
Free guide in bio.
Stocks are green. 📈
But the best return on your day won’t show up in your portfolio.
Hebrews 6:10 reminds us that God remembers our work and the love we show others.
Make money. Be generous. Serve faithfully. ✝️
Basic rules to financial independence:
Spend less than you make.
Invest early and often.
Avoid lifestyle inflation.
Remember who your money serves.
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21
Build wealth. Steward it well. Don’t let it own you.
What would you add?
The Rule Of 72:
An easy way to calculate how long it will take to double your money
You divide your expected rate of return by 72 and that number will be how many years it will take to double your investment
Ex: 72 / 8% Return = 9 Years to double your investment
Proverbs 13:11: whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
This is why long term investing is where it’s at! Trading might be fun with high returns, but long term is almost always a guaranteed win
Why do Catholics and Protestants argue so much on this app?
Aren't we all brothers and sisters in Christ? (CCC 818)
As a Catholic, I wholeheartedly believe Catholicism is the fullness of Christ's Church. That doesn't mean I think Protestants are evil or doing anything inherently wrong.
Why aren't we using this energy to spread the Gospel to people who've never heard it, instead of wasting it on each other?
Your body and your bank account run on the same law. Small deposits, made daily, compound.
One workout does nothing. One $100 into $VOO does nothing. A year of both changes your life.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20: you were bought at a price, so steward what isn't yours.
Most people don't have a money problem.
They have a "someday" problem.
Someday I'll start the emergency fund.
Someday I'll open the account.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says trust God and He makes your paths straight, but the path still needs your first step.
Today is St. Teresa of Ávila's feast. She reformed an entire religious order across Spain with little money and a lot of opposition.
Her reforms were mostly small, daily disciplines done faithfully.
Most financial progress works the same way.
Quiet habits beat big gestures.
What habits helped you?

Hard days are what it’s all about. Romans 12:2: don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
Gotta keep going brother 💪
Sounds like a sale to me !
