🚨 Victoria’s COVID bill hit $39.8bn, with $777m in expired PPE written off alone We are only now uncovering the legacy of waste and spending under the Andrews Labor government during the COVID era, following the Victorian Auditor-General’s report Management of Spending in Response to COVID-19, tabled on 22 October 2026. If this had happened in any private corporation, there would have been serious investigations and possible legal prosecution. It shows just how little regard the Victorian Labor government had for the public’s money while locking that same public in their homes and abusing the law during their reign of incompetence throughout the so-called pandemic.

It remains utterly astonishing that Danny Tommo is behind bars. Still. Absolutely outrageous.

FAFO is the way to go, sadly. Victorian authorities have lost control of violent thugs like this. We need to take appropriate measures which exceed the ability to call for help that won’t arrive in time. And the law should have the backs of the victims, not the perpetrators.
🇿🇦 This South African dad turned a carjacking into the worst day of the gang's lives His car got boxed in right outside his home, one guy put a gun to his son's head at the gate and another started shooting at him. So he pulled his own gun and fired straight back from the driver's seat. All 3 attackers reportedly ended up dead. Wrong family, wrong dad, wrong day. Somebody give this man a medal. Writer: Daniyal

I want to know why right wing journalists do not have a boot on the throats of left wing politicians. (This is a metaphor by the way for anyone who is an idiot.) They should be forced to disavow far-left extremism. Every time an establishment right wing journalist questions Labor on the Helen Haines dirt sheet is a missed opportunity to hold them accountable for the ongoing rise in left wing violence. There is a clear opportunity to demand left wing MPs wash their hands of the deranged lunatics in their movement, but nobody is doing it. The MPs get off scot free once again. I want every right wing journalist and every right wing politician to ask Anthony Albanese and his fellow MPs a very simple question, "Do you disavow left wing extremism?" Every single Labor MP should be forced to answer that question.

No way! I cannot believe it! 😅🫠 Snouts in the trough.
Victoria’s Auditor-General has found state government politicians and departments were using access to public projects, announcements and material to boost their own social media numbers and promote Labor, despite legislation outlawing it > bit.ly/4yPX5O1

Australian eSafety Commissioner struggles to explain why the new government Digital Duty of Care Bill would allow her office to generate child sexual abuse material. Section 205K (2) of the Bill permits that “in addition the Commissioner may use sock puppet identities to test whether an online service is able to, or allows users to, generate (including by means of artificial intelligence) material the production, dissemination or possession of which is an offence against a law of the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory.” Utterly insane. What the hell is happening to Australia.

A reportedly drunk & possibly insane man attacked a member of parliament in Australia with his car. And so, naturally, a few vile politicians are exploiting the tragedy to demand mass online censorship. Decades of scientific evidence & common sense demolish their lies. THREAD

Ideally, a society wouldn’t need this. However, Victoria is in such a state, we need to be able to defend ourselves and our loved ones without worrying about consequences. It’s the perpetrators who should have to worry about consequences.

Victoria is exhibit 137A. Not the first, and sadly, not the last. This happened because we allowed it to. We must now pay the price for neglecting our civic responsibility.
Milton Friedman: “In the long run, government will spend whatever the tax system will raise, plus as much more as it can get away with. That’s what history tells us.” “So my view has always been: cut taxes on any occasion, for any reason, in any way that’s politically feasible, as the only way to keep down the size of government.”

Classic… I mean ‘classless’ Labor. 🫠
The Premier's been blasted for playing disgusting politics after Labor announced abortions will be free in Victoria if it wins next month. The party is attempting to make reproductive rights an election issue, even though Jess Wilson has ruled out any changes to laws. @heidmur The Premier joins #9News to explain.

It’s even funnier now that we have the POV footage showing her facial expression when she said it:
Communications Minister Anika Wells has an extraordinary Freudian slip while trying to sell the ‘Digital Duty of Care’ bill to the public: “We are controlling freedom of speech.”

Truckers protest and Trudeau calls them all Nazis and freezes their bank accounts. In Australia the @AlboMP government demonized millions of upstanding citizens as Nazis and racists after a murderous attack. It’s the same totalitarian playbook everywhere across the West from EU, UK, Canada to US to Aus/NZ. Same people. Same pathological need for control from the PMC. These are people who believe they have exorcised all evil from within and project it all onto millions of good people. It’s a sickness of people who have never considered the other side to their dogma their entire lives. Everyone who disagrees with them is evil and must be silenced in one way or another. When asked politely about why they want to deprive their fellow citizens of their most sacred right, the one that allows for the protection of all other rights, they literally flee out the back door of their cathedral. These people are the dangerous ones. They want to cause harm to their critics and openly threaten the public’s safety.

Here is @AnikaWells brazenly lying about the fake accounts ("sock puppets") provision of the law: She says, "Well, there is nowhere in the bill that gives the government, and by the government, in this instance, the independent regulator, that power. It's just not there." Yes, it is there, as anyone who reads the bill can see. I'll paste it again below.

Wow, wow, wow. I just left the National Press Club where Minister of Communications @AnikaWells spoke. She repeatedly and brazenly lied about the fake accounts, claiming they were only for enforcement, even though the legislation says in black and white that the eSafety Commissioner can use them in unlimited ways for "educational" and "promotional" purposes. One big moment came when a Politico reporter got up and said something about how mean people like @PaulineHansonOz were to eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant. Seriously. A supposed reporter was white-knighting for a government official during the official Q&A. The same reporter had come up to me before Wells' speech and asked if I had criticized Inman-Grant. Who needs government censors when you have Politico? After he asked his question, Wells showed the most emotion, describing online criticism of Inman-Grant as "abuse." She also talked about her own staff's supposed suffering. I kid you not. The mask dropped, and you could see what really upset her: people — including a sitting Senator — criticizing government officials. After gaslighting the audience about fake accounts, Wells repeatedly insisted the government wasn't trying to censor content. She said this after filling her speech with examples of content she claimed harmed people. You couldn't make it up. This legislation is the culmination of decades of progressives equating words with physical violence. Wells cynically compared her legislation to prevent psychological "harm" to various laws that protect people from physical harm, like seat belt laws. BTW, Wells never said what content it was that she thought caused eating disorders. Pictures of skinny women? Dietary advice? Who knows. Nobody asked. Another important moment came when Wells explicitly said Australia would be pursuing censorship alongside other nations, including the UK, France, and Spain—all countries where governments risk losing power to populists. I spoke with Julie Inman-Grant before the speech began and asked about the fake accounts. She insisted they were there just for enforcement, and when I asked why the law allowed them to be used for government propaganda, she said she might write an "enforcement memo," which, of course, would have no impact on the legislation. After her speech, I went up to Wells and asked if she was seriously saying the legislation didn't allow the government to use fake accounts for government propaganda. She refused to answer. A man who said he was from the National Press Club stepped in front of me and said I could interview her afterward. But that wasn't possible because they rushed her out the back to avoid any difficult questions. So there you have it. The pettiest people in Australia are seeking to silence citizens and their political opponents in the name of protecting children. These deeply intolerant and cynical people want to control what you can see and say online. And they're doing it with most of the media's support. Australia has reached a new low in its rapid descent into dogmatism, intolerance, and censorship.
The government today will introduce sweeping censorship that @AlboMP & @AnikaWells lie about. Below she claims the government wants to create a bot army of fake accounts for “research” when the bill clearly intends for them to be used in partisan warfare against fooled citizens.

The reason these thugs do what they do is because they believe there will be no consequences. As far as the justice system is concerned, they have been given reason to. They need a reason to think otherwise. Protect Victorians!
